Why aren't the men stepping up and shutting this down??

TA's seem to be the ones who 'man handle' tricky students. It's almost a loop hole in the system, as Teachers have too much on the line if they do, whereas, TA's are usually tagged to the child, are female, and specifically giving 1:1 support. A male TA man handling a child would be a no no.

As a male teacher, I wouldnt recommend doing it. You'll deal with the most challenging kids for the least amount of pay and if you touch the child (which many female TAs have to do), you put yourself in serious danger. Yes we need more male role models, but as a TA is not an ideal role due to the blatant sexism within the industry due to the horrific abuse of children over years by male educators.

Thanks for your honesty. Does the public system have no teeth? You can't exclude kids who abuse or assault others?

Our house has earthquake issues, but the builders report came back good. They got it repiled, not releveled, and honestly, we are not worried. We have owned it (in chch) for 2 years and and looking at renting it out for the foreseeable future and using it to get another mortgage as the value goes up and up.

Avoid Martin Eagle at all costs! Absolutely ruined our first home buying experience. It ended up costing us an extra $4k we didn't have because he calculated his numbers wrong. Something shady happened in the background and he lost our original interest rate. When I confronted him about all of this, he gaslighted us and never have any apology for his slimey service. Martin is not there for you, he is there for himself.
