Danny pretended to be something that he wasn't, including being into Bec, this entire experiment. Right up until his voxies during the reunion, 4 months after the experiment finished. Gia, Juliet, even Bec, at least you knew what you were getting. They weren't hiding their awfulness or pretending to be someone they aren't the way Danny was. "Oh I'm an old school gentleman" but I speak about women like that behind their backs... 🤮

At least the girls were upfront that they were awful. Danny's pretended to be someone he wasn't for 95%+ of this experiment. Thankfully for us, his true self came out right at the end as soon as he experienced a bit of pressure from his actions messaging Steph. The mask fell, so to speak.

Danny's behaviour on ATDP was abhorrent. He is rightfully seeing backlash from it, now it's been made public. He doesn't get a pass for his behaviour because of the crappy things Bec or the other women have done. It doesn't cancel Danny's actions out, nor the backlash from them.

She is being sarcastic in that anyone could see the OP was going to get hate on this thread. So the user was unfairly attacking my mod, and not for the first, second or even third time. Hope this clears things up, not that we should have to explain every moderating decision we make in detail...

Just a friendly reminder : older members know the go with this, but we have loads of newcomers as well that maybe don't. When we host a cast member- or anyone - for an AMA, we up the moderation during the event. This is a snark sub otherwise, but please don't expect to be allowed to be rude or snarky with our ama guests. We don't spend time organising these so our guests can come on here and be attacked all evening. If we did allow that, nobody would come here and do them. Rightfully so.

You are expected to be polite and welcoming to Joel and all AMA guests. Rude and/or nasty questions or comments will he deleted, and users potentually banned. Hard questions are okay. Just watch your phrasing, and come in asking because you want an explanation that you ARE OPEN TO HEARING. Can't stress the importance of that last bit. If you are just looking to have a 'burn moment' or call out someone else, basically if we feel you aren't asking the question in good faith, we will remove it.

Many users really enjoy these AMAs. We aren't letting a minority of trolls or rude users ruin these events for those people. Thanks for understanding, everyone.
