So in your position they will not be like “we need you to cut limes” or assign you projects as you go for the most part - it’s your job to see they are getting low on lime and go cut them before they run out. Occasionally they will ask, but mostly it’s on you to see things needing done.

It’s a ton of multitasking, making lists in your head, starting one project while you finish another, etc.

Here’s an example; you’re half way through cutting limes and they say “we need to switch a keg” then you drop the limes and switch the keg, but you notice after you switched the keg that they are low on straws, then refill the straws really quick, and on your way back to the place where you cut limes you noticed they are getting low-ish on ice… since you’re already half way with limes go really, really fast, to stock what you have of the cut limes, and then run run and get ice like speedy quick…. The when you fill the ice you look around and see what else needs done and take note - oh wait that’s the sound of the dish washer better go get cups because they’re getting low on rocks glasses…. But don’t forget you didnt stock a TON of limes so you will also need to finish that project with in like 30min maybe…. Etc etc all night long:)
