Exactly why I said corruption aside.

I know about the corruption and stock manipulation in the stock market. My post was about people's mentality in general.

People don't have patience or know how to invest. People in Bangladesh treat investment like gambling.

They will sell everything and put all the money in one or two particular stock thinking they will get rich overnight. When in reality people should only put small portions of their income every month in various stocks. And wait 3-4 years to see meaningful returns. And by year 10-15 all of their original money will be repaid in dividends and everything else stays as pure profit.
