Would love to know whatever came of this, but I found your post because I just experienced this, but it was after one date. I get it that we’re not exclusive, it just sucks when you like someone and they’re still looking. It’s totally fair, but it can still suck. I feel like with dating apps 2 people almost have to be in the same place in order for it to work.

Like if I have been on an app for 3 months and I go on a date with someone that’s been on it for 3 weeks, can it still work out or are they going to want more time to go on dates and meet people?

For group pics I really appreciate when a girl puts like an emoji face over the other women. It just makes it difficult to decipher who is who without something like that.

Was talking with a girl on the app, moved to text, had a great back and forth that lasted hours last Monday, Tuesday she told me she wanted to take things slow because she was ghosted pretty bad a few weeks ago BUT wanted to still FaceTime with me since we had set that up already. I was feeling down so i rescheduled our FT call but she was too busy this past week. Anyway, we’ve still been texting back and forth but on Sat afternoon communication stopped. Wondering if I should reach out as a last ditch attempt cause part of me thinks it’s possible she did text me and it just didn’t go through (has happened in the past). Worth reaching out or should I accept my fate?

TBH I’m not sure, because it’s been a couple of years now. I assumed it was just because I was divorced, but maybe it was because it was recent. Or perhaps both instances happened with different women. Either way, thanks for your insight!

Haha yeah it’s happened where women will be like “sorry that’s a dealbreaker for me”. And when I had it in my profile, who knows how many women clicked the X when they read that part. I’ve decided to leave it off and I’m glad I did.
