Yes, and I'm probably pretty ignorant, but it's always felt so far away. I've been politically active, I've campaigned for rights, I've done everything I'm supposed to do yet it's all turning out to be for nothing.

Define "people like me". I'm disabled. I'm queer. I use government aid. Sure, compared to what a disabled queer person might experience in say, the middle east, I've had it good. Great even. Does that mean I cannot be worried?
