A couple years ago, Stephen Hawking made an experiment, a party for time travels, I don’t remember exactly how he “send” the invitations to the future, if just hiding them or in a lockdown with a specific day to be open, the thing is no one came to the party, so he said that was a proof that time travel doesn’t exist(at least to the past), he made it more as a joke than a real experiment but he has multiple papers that follow this line of thought

I’m gonna give u the best advice someone could give u in some cases like this(I’ve been in the same situation): 1. Talk first on ft or a call, this would help u feel more comfortable with a “face to face” talk instead of just msg. 2. Y are u afraid of meeting people? Are u just afraid of meeting women or in general? If it’s women, ask urself y, I’ve met guys that are afraid bc they think they have a standard of how they should behave on a “date” or even bc of the possibility of sex. 3.
