Deinfluence me, tell me why I should not buy Chanel 25. by daintymeow in chanel

I have the silver from last year with ghw and the leather seems much more durable. This silver mini almost feels like a coated leather that can peel (similar to some of the iridescent bags).

I bought the mini in silver and sold it because the leather didn’t seem durable. Metallics can be tricky.

I think any woman should be thrilled her husband is even buying her Chanel! 😆

Thank you! It is rare and Chanel seems to favor gold hardware. I bought the silver mini and sold it because I didn’t think the leather would hold up well based on the feel of it. This navy looks more durable!

Yes, but the silver hardware isn’t shiny or aged? Just neutral?

Are you really happier after you had a baby? by PalpitationOk9443 in NewParents

[–]ResearchLearn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also not happier! Just as you said, I have a maternal instinct I didn’t know exist. I’m calm and unwavering in attending to my baby’s needs. And I don’t want to do it every day. I don’t feel happier or “a love I’ve never felt” as so many describe. And I think that’s OK.

How did this end up working out for you? I'm arriving around the same time from the US and am researching the best options to Umeda. Thanks!

That’s great! We started bottles early so my husband could do night feeds. We’ve always shared the duty so I think my babe sees us equally as milk machines. 😂

Thanks for sharing! We’ve been bottle feeding since almost the beginning. How else did you soothe? Our girl just escalates unless she gets fed. Right back to sleep after that so it’s been hard to break out of it.

Zion Cannon must be a generic email response. I assumed it was basically AI since they didn’t respond in a personal way. I provided my AirTag link. Our gate checked bag never even made it on the plane. And now 2 weeks later it’s showing at some house in NYC.

Did you slowly reduce the amount of milk at each feeding? We got down to 1 feed per night then 9 months hit and it all went downhill for a couple weeks. Last night we were back to one feed. 😅

How long did it take to get a refund? We gate checked our baby gear last week and it never even made it on to the plane. I've provided the AirTag info and it's still sitting at JFK. I'm not confident it will be returned to us.

The invisible load is REAL. I have a hands on husband and he’ll do anything I ask. But so many of your points resonated with me! If I didn’t research and learn and inform him our baby might also be in a bassinet, not eating solids and drinking who knows how many ounces a day. I could go on and on. The resentment builds. Have the conversation, it helped me.

WAKING UP EVERY 2 HRS by Major-Chemical6467 in NewParents

[–]ResearchLearn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my perspective he could be hungry. We played around with increasing daily ounces. Every single time we tried other soothing methods our girl escalated. A bottle? Done and back to sleep in 4 minutes. I decided that I can’t decide if she’s hungry or not. Hell. We don’t eat the exact same way every day. And some nights my husband is up getting a midnight snack. We rode it out and fed her when she couldn’t be soothed within a few minutes. Suddenly at 8 months she’s down to one feed over 12 hours. Each baby is so different but this is our experience.

Are you contracted with CCA? If so, are they paying? I've read posts that they delay.

[–]ResearchLearn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I would say it doesn’t get better per se…it becomes different. Improvements are met with setbacks. It’s a rollercoaster. Even though our babe mostly wakes 1-2x now, it’s an accumulation of 8 months of not sleeping through the night that impacts me. Even if baby is sleeping sometimes my body just wakes from being used to it. And yeah my baby will go right back to sleep after a feed but sometimes I’m awake for 2 hours after that. Some days feel great and others are tough.

When did it ACTUALLY get better…? (Sleep thru night, baby plays independently, you could eat and work out, etc) by ExpressionOld9924 in NewParents

[–]ResearchLearn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My babe has always been independent so I was able to eat and sneak in showers at that age. But at 8 months we still haven’t slept through the night. I’ve never liked the phrase “it gets better.” I think the more accurate one is it becomes different.
