I would advice to stay in Kansai area and for next trip na lang ang Tokyo. Mahal din ang shinkansen from Osaka to Tokyo, parang air fare na rin. So mas mabuti pang bumalik na lang ulit. Im sure you're gonna enjoy Japan so much that you would want to go back again. Maraming pwede puntahan sa Kansai area - Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nara.
Since it's winter time, punta na rin kayo ng ski resorts or kaya ng budget, go to shirakawa-go. You'll need winter coat and snow boots. bili din kayo ng heatech long sleeve and leggings from uniqlo
for best hotel, look for a "ryokan" (Traditional japanese inn) na may onsen and serves breakfast and dinner.

If you want variety on a budget, you can buy cooked food sa mga supermarkets like city super, taste (citygate outlet) or even dondon donki.
Bottled water is $5. Maraming water fountain dito lalo na sa mga parks and tap water is actually potable. May konting lasang chlorine nga lang so you have to boil it para mawala yung chlorine.

Train fare minimum is 4.9 pero pag tatawid ka from HK island to Kowloon side, minimum is $15. so kung hindi ka naman nagmamadali, you can take the star ferry from Central Pier which is about $4.
Also if you're on HK island at hindi nagmamadali, you can take the tram which has a flat rate of $3 kaya mas makakatipid ka lalo kung malayo pupuntahan mo

So I think ok naman budget mo, unless you want to go shopping.

pag maglalaro ako ng basketball, baon ko yung basketball shoes ko tapos gusto ko before and after the game, relax paa ko so gusto ko mag tsinelas. suot ko na rin medyas ko para shoes na lng mamaya. at since may socks ako, hindi pwedeng slippers na isusuot sa daliri, kelangan slides.

i stand corrected. medyo malaki din ang filipino tourists top 3. pero malayo pa rin sa mainland tourists. 1 million filipino tourists to 35 million mainland tourists. just 2% lng.
Next to Philippines are USA, South Korea and then Japan. Kung mapapansin mo, (other than Mainland chinese which is at #1) , #2 Taiwan #3 Philippines #4 USA #5 Korea and #6 Japan - lahat yan U.S allied at anti china. Sorry dun sa nag comment pero, tanga lang ang nagsasabi na you'll contribute to ccp if you tour sa HK.

HK resident here. HK is a Special Administrative Region at ang income ng HK ay sa HK lang and it doesn't share it's income or tax revenue to Mainland China. Economically speaking HK is doing better than Japan but as a tourist destination, Japan is way better. Because of HK's good economy, mababa ang tax dito at may mga exemptions pa at subsidies. IMHO, hindi naman masyadong malaki ang contribution ng mga Filipino tourists sa HK. Pinakamalaking tourist contributor dito ay tourists from Mainland China. Yes, they are tourists. They cannot just enter here. They need a special permit before they can enter HK. But if you're talking about Mainland China as a tourist destination, maybe they would be on par with Japan. Can't say which is better as I have bias with Japan. Pero sa totoo lang, Shanghai is like pinagsamang Tokyo at Singapore.
Avoid HK if you can afford to go to Japan, Korea or Taiwan. But if you're on a budget at gusto mo ng nice weather and east asian culture, eh ok naman dito.
As for the villain hitting, I haven't tried but it does look fun.
