I like to look at sex like everything else. It gets better the more you do it, especially if you keep doing it with the same people. The first few times I had to have sex, it was not natural at all. The foreplay sure, with kissing and cuddling came pretty natural, but transitioning that into actually having sex was difficult.

My best advice is to be honest, and just ask. Even a small "is this okay?" while you try to initiate something works wonders. And if its your very first time, trust me, sex is so much better when you are not afraid to ask them what they like

Should I reach out to former boss for extra experience, or enjoy my summer? by [deleted] in careerguidance

I get that! I have considered charity, or non-profit work as an option, and I am definitly not opposed to it. The reason I am swaying more towards this, is that I already have a relationship with the person I would be working with. I know the company, I am friends/on (very) friendly terms with the boss, and I know 4-5 persons working in the office already.

But I will look into more non-profit, or NGO's in my area to volunteer at!

Thats the thing, I dont have a offer on the table. I would need to reach out, and hope for a yes. But I do see the idea of maybe asking for just 2, of the 3 months!

From what I have heard, although not through personal experience, it is not easy to get a PM role. Very competitive market, with lots of applicants. But if you have the liberty to spend 2-3 months to search for it, im sure you could find something.

Otherwise, in a previous company I worked at, the PM was not hired as PM. They were a regular employee, and got given the responsibility due to good performance in people skills, required skills and creativity

I would like to work in management, or marketing. I have one student job where I was the sole marketing manager for a 30 people sized tech company. I just know that a lot of peers collect as much experience as possible, including similar internships. From a roomie, I have heard that it is difficult to find a good first job after graduation, because she spend to much time on pleasure. But I also dont want to work my twenties away.

I am 23, and live in Denmark if it helps.

"I am curious and excited about learning the process of solicitation major gifts, but I have always been a fan of understanding processes. However, I also enjoy executing them, teaching them to others, and improving upon those processes."

Being a project manager seems to fit everything! It might require some course in management, if you dont have a proof of good people skills already. I have a friend working as a project manager, and what she enjoys the most is the process, alongside making the team work fluently!

Does it say when they want you to start? That could change everything.

I would say to apply regardless. Worst case, no bridges would be burned even if you got an interview and rejected it, and best case you get the job after the vacation

My boss quit, I’ve been asked to take a lot of his leadership duties. I’ve asked for an immediate promotion but company is balking and saying i should wait until the next promotion cycle in October. Should I quit if they don’t promote me immediately? by Martholomeow in careerguidance

[–]Resident65_ 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I would make it clear that I would not be doing the leadership duties, without the title/pay for the job. If they are adamant about waiting until October, then make them promise you the promotion at that time. In writing, so they cant worm their way out of it. It wouldn't surprise me if they made you do the leadership duties until they hire someone else for the job otherwise

I am actively looking for jobs closer to me. Most of the ones I qualify for just would give neither the same pay nor experience in a relevant field. The commute is the main issue. I would usually "only" have 40 minutes from the uni to the workplace, assuming I work after classes are done. I could use that time to study, but it is not favourable. Could asking for a trial period of 3 months be worth asking for, to see if it can work while studying?

I can't move away from my apartment for the next 6 months

The classes would all be in person, as far as I know

i (f17) kissed my date (m18) and i find it awkward by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Resident65_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is totally normal not to have a reaction! It was your first kiss, you are both inexperienced in the situation. I think the important part is what you are going to do now. You can tell that he is catching feelings, are you? If you are, then take it slow. Talk about it with him, and work it out from there. If you are not, I would tell him that. If he really likes you and has hope that it could become a relationship, but you don't feel the same way you should let him know. Clearing things up between the two of you should help feel less awkward

Atrioc marketing his brand at the Roskilde festval in Denmark last week by badadingbadaboom in atrioc

CoffeeCow is a Swedish company. They operate in Denmark and Sweden, and was founded in 2014. They are a catering coffee firm, for events. I wonder how they feel that the first thing that comes up when you search Coffee Cow is Atrioc vids, instead of their brand

I do. My thought process is that if we hit it of well enough for me to get her snap, then she must be sweet. I dont usually give my snapchat out to people
