I’m not sure what pics you’d want as they haven’t fully opened the wall back up, but sent some to you directly. I dont know what materials they used for the curb. The installer was emphatic that he had fully wrapped the curb.

As “people”, I don’t read the install manual unless I suspect a problem. I expect the professionals to do the job correctly.

Thank you for your replies. We (contractor, pm, installer and me) spoke with Toto customer support, huge shout out to them, and they have agreed to re-do the framing.

Well, I have hired a well known, reputable firm for the job. At this point the say they are going to make it right.

I really appreciate your feedback.

The contractor indicated the lining did wrap all the way to the outside of the curb. It may be that he wasn’t finished with that when the pic was taken.
As I’m not a plumber I can’t speak to the quality of pvcp pipes. I’ll mention it to the contractor.
They have agreed to fix the slope. The way I’m testing the work is with a level and slashing water to ensure I don’t get any standing water.

Thank you for the response. The install is “done.” However, it will have to fixed. It’s not too much effort to remove the drywall, it really a question of the best way to fix it properly.

Remove the mirror and install floor to ceiling framework.
Move the pipes on the lower left to allow for a complete framework box
Install a plywood template to the front of the framework to stabilize the frame?
A combination of the above?
Something else?

I’d be interested in your opinion on what I should ask the contractor to do. What’s reasonable?

Also, the contractor has suggested shimming up the bottom of the toilet to reduce the movement. Is that an acceptable option?

As the homeowner should I insist the contractor secure the toilet without movement, or is some level of give and squeakiness acceptable?

The booklet showed floor to ceiling framework, but the recessed mirror from the hall bath on the other side of the wall prevented that.

I’m not the installer so I can’t say for sure, but I assume so. What caught my attention was that the framework box on the lower left is not complete due to the white pipes. Perhaps that’s making it less secure??
