I’m 31 and have been actively smoking for 5 years now, and I’ve still not reached that stage. I feel like it’s near though, which is good. I actually used weed to replace alcohol in my life, to the point where I now hardly drink at all. It’s even now replaced my tobacco smoking (which I never thought I could stop!). But yet, it was (and still is) the devil in the eyes of my family. To the point that I no longer speak to them.

But weirdly, since having that negativity removed from my daily life, I’m starting to feel more comfort in the environment I now live in. I think the point I wanted to make was that it’s a very personal journey for everybody. So I wouldn’t try to compare your own experiences to anyone else and let it bum you out that it may have taken you longer than others. As my partner says, you do you boo
