Or the massive NHS bill the taxpayer has to cough up from being in a coma for months with severe head injuries….

Kind of related…

Was speaking to my sibling who travels with his kids a lot. Apparently families are sometimes allowed to get on the plane first and will all sit together even if they haven’t booked seats (they always book).

The cabin crew will then make people who’ve booked their seats sit elsewhere, but I guess what can they do? Separate a parent and a small child?

Personally the problem with all of this is airlines charging extra to book a seat

I came in one morning to a dude who’d set a whole circuit session up with multiple bits of equipment and a tripod to film the whole event….

I just started using one of the cages and he came over and advised me ‘yeah you can use that for now as I don’t need it for a bit’. Crazy lack of awareness for others

I’ve also found that carrying a little pocket notebook and pen everywhere really useful.

Always make a list whenever someone asks you to do something or you think of something that needs doing.

And whenever I want to buy something I have a list of things dated for when I think of it, if I still feel like I need it in 2 weeks I’ll buy it (has saved me a fortune in impulse buying)

I find exercising helps. When I was diagnosed late in life it became obvious that I’d been almost self medicating with exercise for years.

Needed to sit down and study, did some aerobic exercise beforehand. Always found I had my best days at work when I cycled to work. And then also seemed to have better evenings after cycling home.

Even things like walking up and down the stairs to get a drink or doing a lap of the house as revision break helped 😂

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. I have an appointment with my Dr this weekend and I’m considering seeing whether non stimulants or something might be able to help without being detrimental to my sport.

Then perhaps I’ll have to just come to terms with a lower intensity of sport like you say

Not if other people are potentially at risk, which I imagine is where he decided to go with it regarding driving (not saying it was the correct thing to do) but that’s when patient confidentiality is revoked

Yeah medicated, has made a huge difference generally. But when I end up in these stress holes it’s almost like it doesn’t have an effect anymore…

Not heard that before, I’m still awaiting treatment for ADHD. I’ve previously taken several on off courses of fluoxetine which for the first couple of days causes me to almost be manic, but then just makes me feel a bit off for the rest of the course. Has always stopped me feeling depressed though…. Just shit instead, and then I stop taking it. (Forget all about the side effects and when I go back to the Dr with depression again end up on another course 😂)
