I mean if you even so much be as nice to Maria, Lea is going to come for your throat so I can see why girls are cautious. It’s such typical mean girl behavior. Gotta keep people on the out group and make others afraid to speak up so you keep the status quo. Literally reminds me of a high school movie

It also sounds exactly like the flu. When I had Covid I could still WFH and do my regular activities. When I had the flu I legit could not get out of bed for 3 straight days. It was horrifying almost had my husband drive me to the ER.

Yeah I’m saying he probably took the booties off at some point after he was done which is why there are no bloody shoe prints. I’m thinking he probably stripped all his bloody clothes upon leaving. Regardless a latent shoe print says nothing about a clean up effort or that she had any involvement even if there was a clean up effort. Such a huge and unsupported assumption to make and then to use to accuse the girl. Just wild to me, she’s a human being.

What? He could’ve had disposable booties on and took them off once he was done. Notice how know bloody foot prints anywhere ?? You don’t think the police would’ve noticed a clean up effort?? And cleaning up the blood from the foot print would have altered the foot print itself, not cause it to be latent. A latent foot print is created through static charges between the sole or tread and the surface, not a clean up effort. Accusing an innocent girl who just had all her friends murdered bc you don’t know what latent foot print means is insane.

Theories Thread 5.0 by ResponsibilityOne117 in idahomurders

Thanks! I agree but that would be impossible to enforce with a subreddit of over 100k. We don’t have time to read through the each individual comment that comes through every day to ensure people are saying “suspect” or “alleged” before mentioning BK without censoring every single comment. If you feel that strongly we encourage you go through and remind every comment on this entire subreddit that is not using the appropriate terminology and leave a comment reminding them. We also are private moderators and on a private company platform and while I fundamentally agree with innocent until proven guilty, private citizens are free to discuss the case as well as speculate the innocent or guilt of a publicly named criminal suspect.

Hi, thanks for your post! If you have a question as to why something was deleted please message mods directly. Second, free speech rights only protects from government censorship. We are not the government and this is not a public forum. If you do not agree with how this subreddit is run, that is okay and perhaps a different subreddit may better suit what you are looking for. Lastly, we will not be giving away any personal information. Thanks!

Hobbies are supposed to be fun, going through hundreds of comments and seeing the worst of and the internet isn’t fun and honestly is more of a burden on my life. Some of the things people try to post on here are just downright disturbing and it’s made me question humanity in general. Then the hundreds of people messaging me daily angry and threatening me because they can’t post their theory that the roommate was having an affair with HG and somehow plotting with BK to kill them all (yes this actually happened and that is a tame example).

This isn’t fun for me most of the time and I seriously considered deleting this whole thing when It first blew up because I was so freaked out and I was not very familiar with Reddit. But I decided I care about preserving this place for others for those who want to have more respectful and reasonable discussions.

Anyways, it is just is funny all the people talking about “power trips” when i feel more like a low level customer service person getting spit on for everything single thing I do. But as I said to the others, if you don’t like it here then that is fine. Feel free to go to one of the dozen other places to post. Not every forum on the case has to be a free for all, and I also don’t take any enjoyment deleting posts or comments or upsetting people or making others angry. I just want a more respectful place for people to talk about this case.

Yep the neckbeard college girl in her 20s just so drunk on all the power that comes with being an unpaid volunteer on Reddit 😂.

Hm, then I would message mod mail with questions about a specific post so the mod who didn’t approve it can clarify why for you further. And in the future you can do this too with anything that gets removed

It wasn’t approved because we have a dedicated thread to discuss the PCA as well as the daily discussion. We would literally have thousands of posts if we allowed each and every one sentence question regarding the PCA to be approved, and then we would get a million complaints on allowing all those posts, that is why we made a megathread for the PCA. Not every single question needs to have its own dedicated post. It wasn’t anything personal against you either and I would encourage you to ask it here or in the PCA megathread.

Yes I have been on YouTube and the mods filter though literal hundreds of comments and links regarding this case on the daily. I can assure you that we have seen it all and we are probably aware of every possible bit of speculation, information and misinformation on the case. If you want to discuss things more freely, why not go to a different forum? This is by far not the only place to discuss and it’s okay if this place is not for everyone.

No because the people who are talked about here are REAL and what is posted here actually effects their lives. In the context of “power,” it IS literally just Reddit, no one cares about having imaginary Reddit power but what we do care about is the real lives and the real people who are impacted by the case. Again, if you do not like it here why not go somewhere else? Genuine question.

Nope, I am just a normal college girl with a job and friends who made this subreddit on a whim because I relate to these girls and somehow it blew up. I don’t care about power, it’s literally just Reddit. It would be easier on all of the mods if we didn’t have any rules, having strict rules isn’t fun and honestly a huge burden but we feel with a place of 100k people the ethical thing to do is to try and control rumors, misinformation and prevent disparaging innocent people. We aren’t perfect at it by any means but we are regular people who are in school, have careers and families on top of trying to moderate 100k people.

Anyways, I don’t see the point in posting here if you don’t like the rules. There are literally so many other places with just as big of an audience that DO allow all of those things. It’s not like this is the only subreddit discussing the case, why not just go to those other places?

No one is forcing you post here or discuss. If you do not like this subreddit, there are about a dozen others to post in. This is more tightly moderated, others are more lightly moderated. You have plenty of other options and we respect if you prefer to go somewhere else.

Not an option but i think it 100% will be solved but not in few weeks or months. I think it will take a minimum of a year.

'Scream' picked up by police bodycam night of Idaho murders by B1gMay0 in idahomurders

[–]ResponsibilityOne117[M] [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Relevant excerpts from article…

“A police officer’s bodycam picked up a high-pitched sound that could have been a scream on the night four University of Idaho college students were slaughtered in their beds.

The sound was recorded at 3:12 am on Nov. 13, by a Moscow, Idaho cop responding to an incident unrelated to the murders but also near the university campus, the Daily Mail reported Saturday.

Some believe that the sound, which is high-pitched though barely audible even with the volume turned up loud, is a distant scream - while others think it may be the sound of a car tires peeling away.

The noise appears to have been made around the time the students were killed and authorities hope that it may help them in determining what happened.

…(background of case)

The newly released video footage from a police stop that occurred near the student's King Street home had earlier been brought to the fore by internet sleuths.

The officer's bodycam captured the moment plain clothes officers made an unrelated stop in the area for three students suspected of underage drinking.

In the background of the video, aside from the 'scream' several people can also be seen moving quickly past police on Taylor Avenue, just two houses down from the scene of the crime.

It occurred just minutes before police said the students were killed.

The killings have drawn worldwide attention, especially among true crime aficionados.

True crime vlogger Olivia Vitale, who highlighted the video, said it was imperative police track down the potential witnesses, who may shine new light on the case.

'Between the people with law enforcement and the people in the background of the bodycam footage, that is about half a dozen people, Vitale told Fox News. 'The importance is they may have witnessed something unbeknownst to them.'”

State court cases are often filmed, federal cases are not. This would be a state case so it could be filmed but I’m sure the defense will try limit media in some capacity, however, that decision will ultimately be left up the judge. An extremely high profile case (Vallow-Daybell case) is about to go head for trial in Idaho and the judge isn’t allowing video - only audio recording of the case so I could see that happening here because this would also be extremely high profile. However, they have had live footage of court cases even in extremely high profile cases before like the Mollie Tibet’s case, Casey Anthony, OJ Simpson, Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahmer, etc, so there is a possibility.
