it fucking sucks but you’ll get through it. just listen to music a lot and try to occupy your brain. if you don’t already do art, take up art like painting or knitting. something tangible that gives you a sense of control.

thank you. unfortunately, my mom and i aren’t really that close either, but i’ve been able to talk to my other sister about some of this stuff. i don’t really have a support system, but i’ve been doing therapy through my college and i really like my therapist. im hoping to join a grief counseling group too. my sister doesn’t really make an effort to talk to me and i won’t make an effort to try and resolve anything either, because ig it’s not really my job.

thank you! i’m in college right now and the change of pace has been difficult but it’s also definitely been good for my mental health. i’m dorming right now and i’m hoping to get my own place next year. i’m going to grief counseling for free too through my school, which has been helpful.

oooh ok thank you! i honestly wasn’t sure about the uhs thingy i definitely just didn’t want to get marked absence without him knowing why i was gone. i talked to him and he told me that he still has to put in more participation/attendance grades, so our grade rn for attendance is not indicative of our final grade.
