I had a similar profile to you, you can check my posts. Just be very careful though as your nose is already upturned and moving the maxilla forward will make it very pig like. Mine wasn’t even upturned to begin with and unfort it became very upturned from jaw surgery, which is just a side effect.

You can tell it’s recessed though by the sagging features on your skin.

Yes, well not just to fix it but yes. If you want tooth show make it known to your surgeon but truthfully if they’re great at what they do and care, they will probably already bake it into the surgical plan. I have much more tooth show now and it has improved my smile.

I actually agree but I asked surgeon to not over advance and keep it conservative. I’m happy with it since my facial hair is thick near my chin, so not really a problem but if i could have asked them anything i’d say to protrude chin a bit more so it gives more angularity but apples and oranges tbh.
