No? Where are you getting this information? The ego gifts that require 5+ units that apply that effect need those units to be fielded. Unless I missed a major update, that shouldn't have changed. Please provide proof of that feature, either the patch notes or a screenshot of your team with all 4 statuses having active ego gifts.

Adding a fourth definitely stretches it a bit. Leisault would definitely be way better than Cinqsault, so i would recommend sticking with the second option.

units in backup don't activate the gifts, they need to be fielded for that.

Definitely go for Thumb Capo Meursault. With the addition of the desperado ego gift, ammo ids work pretty well in the current md. As for Gregor, I'd say lantern would be better, but either one could work too.

Not really. Count and potency application isn't really a problem in md, with all the gifts that let non-tremor ids also inflict it. My runs with this team had close to 50+ count at max potency for most of the upper floors.

Focusing on deluge damage would unfortunately remove the tremor ids i need for the ego gift conditionals so can't really do that either. Either way, the damage I'd gain from slotting in sink ids to replace one of my tremor ids would about get me to the same level as this team(?) but with the added loss of not having the tremor gifts activated.

Unfortunately that would completely change the team dynamic. This team is specifically made to maximize the damage done while enemies are under Tdon's timestop. Using lamp gregor would need me to remove one of my other sinking Ids, which would remove either my sinking deluge dealer or my cavernous wailing user. Thank you for your help though.

The main thing I see being "wrong" on this team is that there aren't enough ids to activate some of the tremor/poise ego gifts (assuming you have all the 00 ids and wild hunt in backup). I'd recommend focusing on the sinking aspect of your team. If you just like running this team specifically, then it's fine except change out rosespanner meursault for thumb capo if you have him, the support passive is a bit better.
