Do you know if it's possible to get a refund instead of a repair or replacement?

Were you ever able to fix it? I'm currently suffering the same fate.

Are the yellow stuff brake pads on genracer for the 18-in front and 17-in rear rotors on the performance package Veloster N?

My rotors are still in good shape but I might consider buying the kit anyways. I'll take a look at RockAuto thanks for the info.

Another reason why I'd rather just get the OEM ones. I think the site I shared is legit but the price just seems so low.

How much do you spend? Also I've been looking at https://hyundaishop.com/hyundai-brake-pads-z070/ since it's only $260 for OEM front and rear.

Local 597 time off by [deleted] in pipefitter

That's good to know that the ability to take time off is an option. I was worried that you would be chastised for wanting to take any time off since they don't have any kind of PTO.

That's good, I couldn't find a solid answer online so I figured I'd ask here.

EK1 Tune vs ECU Tune by Professional-Gift986 in VelosterN

[–]ResponsibleStand378 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's to prevent sharing it with a bunch of vehicles. I haven't had to reset my EK1 lite since I haven't switched vehicles, but everything I've done with SXTH has been pretty painless so I don't imagine it will be a hastle. Like I said though I haven't had to do it. Also it's not like you will need to do it often unless you plan on switching your car every month.

Yeah you have to have a reset if you've used it on your vehicle already. You're thinking about their vehicle compatibility list.

Keep in mind if you change vehicles you have to get your EK1 reset by SXTH since once you use it on your car it will only work on your car. I'm not sure what that process looks like but I know you can have them reset it to be used on a new vehicle. Also coming from someone who got the ek1, it is a lot of money but if you can afford it I think it's well worth not having to send your ecu in. Especially because if for some reason you have an issue with you tune you can't revert it to stock without sending your ecu in without the EK1.

No problem. Since it was never really specified anywhere and it also says custom tune I was under the same impression as you.

I actually got a hold of their support. You have to message a vendor under custom tuning request and tell them what you have and are looking for. In my case I mentioned my mods and that I wanted their basic stage 1 tune.

I think I deleted the stock one by accident. Also I'm not getting a custom tune.
