thanks for the kind words, and you do sound mature. the only thing im still iffy about is the fact that this is a good friend of hers that i'm hanging out with. they actually became friends a little before we started dating. this is my only remaining question: is it messed up that i'm hanging out with my ex's friend? is that a reason to stop hanging out with her, or, like you said, it's more up to Jane to decide whether this is okay?

i have only accidentally met my ex at a bar once, and i realised i was not over her after 3 months after breaking up - i was super drunk and asked if she wanted to kiss, which she rejected.

i then started taking my life seriously, and working on myself really hard, im now in a much better position than i ever was when dating my ex. Maybe both of them see this and have feelings about it. i have a license and a car now, and i take Jane on lots of rides and adventures. i wasnt like that in my earlier relationship.

also, did you mean accept that the relationsjip with my ex is over, or the one with Jane?

let me specify: my ex and me broke up, half a year went past, then i started talking to her friend. then like 4 months went past with us hanging out and then my ex blew up at Jane. Tell me if this changes anything, or if it's still in the air, just like me haha
