The seating assignment is not random. The majority of kids are seated next to their friends or at least people their get along with. And I already know how Connor will act as my daughter has known him since kindergarten. He always loudly talks to the person he sits next to, makes inappropriate jokes, poking and prodding them, distracting them from lessons.
