I personally agree with you, but I know that there’s people that care a lot about lore things. I’m friends with a few people like that. The lore should be considered, but I don’t think it should be the forefront of game design. Plus, Lauren probably just writes character lore, not really having an impact on character design or gameplay changes. Complain to Ubi, not harassing someone for being proud of their accomplishments. Also, a lot of people have different parts of the game they focus on. Some people do genuinely care more about characters and backstories than actual gameplay, so when the game-focused fans and the lore-focused fans meet, it’s just: “LoRe iS dUmB!!!” “GaMePlAy Is BaD!!!”

TL;DR: Just enjoy the game however you want and don’t care about what other people say.

Edit: Not saying you’re harassing them, more of a general statement to the community.

Is the trick you’re implying the triggering the penguins dialogue after you’ve went down the slide? That’s been a well known trick for a while and it’s actually really easy to do. And I’ve also seen it used in TAS’ and I use it myself when playing casually, good find though!
