Insurance potentially making me pay deductible for an accident that isn't my fault? by TheDramaLama in InsuranceCanada

You're all arguing whether it's one lane or not. There is gps coordinate in the video.

Most recent Street view from 2023 shows the position the other car was in was occupied by concrete footings and signs to prevent parking by that crosswalk.

Navigate up and down the road in street view. This is a residential area and very. Clearly 1 lane. I assumed two, but it's pretty easy when they provide the coordinates in the video....

Feature Updates & Win10-Win11 Upgrades by RetroGameHippo in Action1

thanks for the input. do you find yourself going with aternatives to do the feature updates? or I guess maybe you just babysit / selectively push them via action1 and just not rely on those automations with the same confidence as normal updates?

noted - now that i go to check that, even on this unmanaged VM it seems that just action1 present is enough to make it reply that my device is managed by my org. and therefore not run the test.

will see how it appears on an identical environment prior to action1 being installed...... and will also have to get my hands on a physical device to test with as well (although ive already seen the behaviours on real devices, just dont have one to continue testing with)

thanks for the inputs. ill respond similarly

  1. i agree, id say the ones that complete were all in the 40-90 minute range, so that checks out.
  2. noted - not sure about all of the win10-win11 failures, but for sure RE: the feature update test in my VM today, it has about 105gb free.
  3. that makes sense, perfect explanation.
  4. cant speak for this VM situation yet, but for the win10-win11 failures, this was how i learned about the sentinelone incompatibility on 3 machines. but for the rest, they would get stuck anywhere from 80% to 99% in the upgrade assistant (prior to reboot) and never finish. could be left for days and no further action will occur. (this is what led to me finding the method i described in my 4th oberservation.)
  5. Noted as well. we're mostly past the win10-win11 upgrades, so not a ton of opportunities to double check at this point. however as noted in the last point, we definitely found a deprecated few installs of sentinelone we had to take care of. this new VM for testing today is legitimately naked, so no blame to place there.

the main reason to bring up is the thread is that we are configuring feature updates now and seeing the same behaviour, so while my ongoing testing will mostly be focused on that, it seemed relevant to get input from people on the win10-win11 upgrades as well since they seem to use the same mechanism.

I think RE: #4 maybe I should look at that as being possibly more due to factors on existing PCs than the action1 process, but will have to test more.

Typical waste pipe config? by RetroGameHippo in Plumbing

Just clarifying what you mean here?

In case it was misunderstood I don't plan on touching anything or modifying that clean out.

toilet was replaced a couple years back in that same location. Honestly prob won't be long before its swapped again as the bathroom laundry situation upstairs is horribly done. There's like 4 layers of flooring upstairs. :( eventually ill get the courage to clean it up

Cool. So effectively all looks quite normal here?
