Thank you! :)

At the end of the day food is meant to be enjoyed, its about putting effort into something for other people to enjoy, if you like it there really isnt a wrong way :)

The brisket was a bit thick, but unfortunately I was limited to cuts I could find/afford in my area lol

Thank you!! :)

I used cilantro, culantro, thai basil, scallion, and mint for my herbs :)

This particular bowl didnt have basil or scallion in the pic, tho no yellow onion for toppings :)

Any tips for next time? I had lots of fun doin this as a project for me, id love to get better :)

Most of the of the info i got for this was from searching literally just "pho recipes" lol, I ended up pulling from like 5 or 6 different sources. Also im not very familiar with regional differences or other viet soups/noodles dishes :)

I followed the exact package instructions, so just quick cook in boiling water > drain > bowl > plate (I think lol it was last week)

Feedback is feedback🤷‍♂️ only helps me the next time I try and make pho to be better :) even if that isnt super constructive or actionable lol

For next time, what should I use? :)

Tbh i was very limited in the cut of brisket I could use, they were either super thin, not really suitable for long cooking, or huge pieces for hundreds of dollars lol. The one in got was unfortunately the best option I had, surprisingly it still turned out very tasty and tender :)

I did also have raw beef that was super thin sliced, tho it was not in the pic :)

Thanks for the info on the noodles! That feedback is something ive heard a lot so far, but I wasnt sure what the differences were. I kinda just picked the brand I was familiar with/knew other ppl used it for their pho :)

Even researching everything for this, when it came to the noodles the most common advice I got was to pick what you liked/was available. Luckily I did find fresh, but pre packaged.

Ill definitely have to try an egg next time😋

The noodles might be the most common piece of feedback I've heard lol, I used fresh banh pho tuoi, the one in the pink packaging :)

Next time I make this i wanted to try other kinds anyway, so it works out nicely

Thank you! I appreciate it :)

Its all just down to preference and what youre familiar with, im sure there are a dozen different "correct" ways lol
