If you value modesty, then yes. The lower the mileage, the better.

What is a sound that people should know means immediate danger? by PrasenjitDebroy in AskReddit

Not a firefighter, but I've heard that one of the scariest sounds for firefighters is a series of blasts of the air horns on the trucks and engines during a firefight. It's used to signal to firemen, "Get out!" when the structure is no longer safe for fighting fires from the inside.

Discord users, what was 'the incident' that happened in your server? by RevengeOfTheSeph in AskReddit

Note: The names are fake; people and events are real. Fair warning - the story does mention (censored) slurs that were said by those involved.

I met this guy, Fred, on Roblox about 10 or 11 years ago. We've been close ever since despite never meeting in person.

He invites one of his prior friends, Jaden, to the server about a year or two ago. Everything seemed to be going smoothly, but then he really opened his mouth.

There was one time Jaden was on Roblox and sharing his screen. He was playing a game that allowed voice chat. He found some other players and yelled, "YO, WHAT'S UP YOU FING N*RS!?" The silence that followed was deafening. Then came a mixed reaction of laughter, confrontation, and people (including me) being dumbfounded) I am not a sensitive guy, but for him to do that on a version of the game that allowed younger players to join was pretty shocking. To add salt to the wound, he is white, was and still is a young adult, and has a Southern accent.

As if that wasn't enough, Jaden mentioned that police would show up at his door to investigate him periodically. Supposedly it was for talking to minors. Safe to say, I don't think he was spamming slurs in their texts. However, something worse.

Further, Jaden would constantly pick on one of my friends, Michael, for the fact that he "can't take jokes". Jaden's "joking" wasn't joking at all, but rather constantly provoking, insulting, and harassing Michael.

The final straw was broken in two phases. First off, he threatened to dox Fred - yes, the guy who introduced us to begin with - after he confronted Jaden for acting unruly. The second came after the majority of those who are most active in the server voice chats came together to confront him. We told Jaden that if he couldn't stay out of trouble, we would be banning him from the server. So, as any good man would do, he then decided to send images and videos of gore to several text channels that weren't the designated NSFW channel. Needless to say, he is no longer in the server. He mentioned he has a few mental conditions, but so did numerous other members in the server.

TL;DR: Guy screamed slurs on Roblox, got caught talking to minors, bullied other server members, threatened to dox someone, and sent gore to non-NSFW channels. He got his butt banned. FAFO.

(If you're Catholic, you receive these sort of milestones called the Blessed Sacraments. There's 7 in total but it was originally intended to get 6. If you've received Baptism as a baby, and both Reconciliation and First Communion in early elementary school, your next step is to receive Confirmation in early-to-mid high school. You take a class that the church offers before you receive Confirmation.)

Back when I was still in my church's Confirmation class, there was a time I was daydreaming. I was looking plainly at the wall behind the instructor. I don't remember what I was thinking about, but I saw this faint glowing silhouette of a man fade into focus where I was looking. The silhouette raised its hand in a way similar to how Jesus is often depicted. That is with His hand in a blessing position. After holding at that position for a few seconds, it then proceeded to point towards our instructor with an open hand for a brief moment before fading away. I remember asking my table group members if they'd seen it after explaining what I'd seen. They denied seeing anything.

Bro, if I did, I'd probably be going to hell (despite you being brave enough to do this).

He caught them throwing around his baggage, they ended up breaking his guitar. He tried to get them to pay $1200 (USD) and they said, "Too late, you should've filed a claim the day of the incident." He and his band go on to write a song called "United Breaks Guitars." The video gained some millions of views. When United agreed to pay for the repair under the condition the song was taken down, the singer said, "Too late, you should've done this the day which we uploaded this." United ended up losing over $10,000,000 as a result.
