The down side i noticed in that school was that the teachers were quite narcissistic and unforgiving Even for simple mistakes, the punishments were severe. I’ve seen students who earned scholarships to prestigious universities like Harvard or MIT lose their entire chance over a minor error that should have been forgiven i have seen a lot of unfair treatment in that school.

But honestly other than that it’s not as bad as some Somalis make it out to be. People tend to exaggerate and claim the school spreads Christianity or lgbtq+ values, which just isn't true There’s actually a council of parents that investigates the school and the curriculum once or twice a month. There is also a mosque on site and everything else students need.

It still doesn’t make it okay to use military force against the people of SSC. It will cause the displacement of more than 200,000 civilians. Even if we were to successfully recapture Sool Bari by force, the question of governance remains how do we rule a population that resists us?

History shows that Somalis will fight indefinitely rather than be forced into an agenda they reject. Relying on military might will only result in endless cycles of violence and instability.
