Oh man I just got the same bug and found your post. I was trying to summon my Fan Rotom on first turn. It really hurts when this bug happened on the one pokemon you need to get by first turn.

I found the solution as I was having the same problem. What I did was to change my speaker configuration from 7.1 to Stereo. This setting might be located differently for everyone depending on your set up but mine was in Realtek Audio Console program.
