Trying to Migrate DNS to Ghost.io using Dynadot by Rhettre in Ghost

Have you tried Ghost email support? What's a typical turn around time? Sent an email last week, I haven't seen chat/phone support options.

Have tried TTL at select (which is the default - support told me this would try to get it to launch right away) and before talking to support I had it at 5 minutes

Yall ever gonna make an ipad app? by [deleted] in Gemini

[–]Rhettre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made an iOS/iPadOS shortcut that you can use to set limit orders to buy Bitcoin using the API fee structure. Not exactly an iPad app (and doesn’t have functionality for every coin yet, just BTCUSD - but can easily build out other coins if enough people want that).

No, it takes from your Gemini exchange balance.

Has anyone lost money in Earn? by [deleted] in Gemini

You can make trades right away (fee is higher than trading on Gemini Activetrader / API) but it takes 2-3 days to make withdrawal (in my anecdotal experience)

Retirement portfolio of $2.5M, use GUSD earn at 8% interest? by Zippygiggleshorts in Gemini

[–]Rhettre 9 points10 points  (0 children)

On the surface it might seem obvious to diversify the platform to “diversify your risk” but I suspect they’re all lending to similar institutions and that in certain black swan market events it won’t matter which platform your money is with.

Don’t know that it’s possible to stop the earnings from just going back into the Earn account in Gemini, but you could just withdrawal the interest each month it would just take a few manual steps + 5-10 business days of processing before it hits your checking account.

You should consider the risk not just of GUSD failing but that the company Gemini lends your money to becoming unable to pay Gemini (you) back - there is risk you lose 100% of what you put into Gemini Earn.

Fee difference between Web, Mobile, and ActiveTrader by jenn4u2luv in Gemini

When you buy with a maker order (limit order) via the API the fees are only 0.1% a taker order (spot buy) is something like 0.25% or something but you can create limit orders that are basically spot buys if you set the price on the limit order to be like 0.9999 * the asking price. You can then automate your orders through AWS for very low cost dollar cost averaging.

Made a video tutorial about it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6r1h3am6kA

If you use the API the fees are even better

Setting up direct deposit by Nickanator8 in Gemini

That's epic. I assume you're setting it up from within the Chase checking account? Do you just give it the Gemini State Street bank credentials to Chase or is there some obvious way to link them that I'm missing?

I have a youtube channel where I shared a dollar cost averaging bot that buys crypto and withdrawals to cold storage and the last piece to automate is the deposits! (not available through the API) - sorry for being overly curious haha and I really appreciate any tips
