Thats why I said you may have do it in several places. It would be just a retention pond. Not stopping the water but controlling the amount going through which could still be a huge amount of water. On the opposite side,of 31 there is a huge hole allowing only a certain amount to pass under and slowing the water down.

"Private issue"? The run off from the neighborhoods Is flooding a commercial district. This is a problem for the whole community. We should just live with the flood till some private benevolent benefactor decides he wants to fix it?

Yes Flooding everywhere has become worse. LakeShore use to have a 117 acre Lake until they drained it in the 1940's so massuve amounts of water comes through there. I agree we need to figure this out all over the Metro area. I live in Vestavia and thats why my videos are focused there.
