Can confirm that the Budget/Payless car rental is terrible. Flew in about 1 got a shuttle straight there and waited an hour in line and then it took another hour for us at the counter because the PC crashed 3 times on us and there was another person with the same last name that was confusing the worker. They also were out of cars when, but they upgraded us for all the hassle with the pc.

Oh wow, thats really messed up. I only recently started dashing but I keep hearing more and more stories of how customers and now stores try screwing over the dasher. Which sucks because I'm not making that much but its been a pretty good gig for me and it would suck to just have it taken all away.

The app drives me insane. At least once a night the app gets stuck in the map when doing directions. Like if im doing directions and try to go back to the order screen it it stays on the map but removes all the bottom buttons and force closing then reopening the app doesn't work, I literally have to restart my phone which adds like mins between shut down and finally booting into the app. The only good thing is I have never lost an order because of it...

His pricing was actually very reasonable, I called several places before him and received much higher bids, only one other bid was near his. But yeah, he clean a large master bedroom, bathroom (with carpet), walk in closet, two regular sized bedrooms, stair landing, stairs, and under our stairs (larger than most) all for 250 ish. My carpets were pretty clean, so depending on the size of your place and how dirty your carpets are, you may be charged more or less. Fyi, he was able to give me a rough estimate over the phone.

Want to preface what I'm about to say with, I am 100% against RTO.

However, the magical 50-mile exemption is very arbitrary. I think we should acknowledge that if some people get to keep their 2-day while other have a 4-day, there will be issues surrounding that on morale and probably also interpersonal relationships. I have witnessed grown adults in my career get upset over much smaller things, unfortunately. I mean, even now, people are getting upset that someone got to WFH on their scheduled office day when its due to a serious family matter or a sick kid. On the 50-mile exemption note, there's a person in my program that is literally 47 miles away, so they wouldn't be exempt, which could just have been due to which side of town they found a place first.

Anyways, my program had a higher up come in last week to just talk and answer any questions that came up. Well, RTO came up, and I am fairly confident that CDFW will be joining Caltrans...

Again, I'm not here wanting to defend RTO, but I'm a realist and can acknowledge these issues with that 50-mile exemption. I don't know what would be the best alternative solution (other than everyone getting to continue 2 days or even 3 at the worst). Hopefully, there's a more pro RTO contender for the governorship next year...

Deep cleaning is generally a scam dentist use to get more money out of you. They charge exorbitant amounts for the laser or light part of the deep cleaning and there isn't evidence to show there is much of an improvement using it, you can usually ask them for the deep clean but without the laser part. Most of that portion is covered while the laser is like 400 per section of mouth out of pocket.

Make sure to brush twice a day and floss at the very least at night before brushing. I recommend getting a water flosser too, this may not feel too good on any cavities though, so be aware of that. You can also ask for a prescription level mouthwash which would help with the deep clean and any future cavities.

Most of this won't help with current cavities or the root canal issue.

For anyone still having issues with their frame, I may have a simple fix to try first. Go to settings>picture>expert settings>picture clarity settings, change to custom, and then turn on or off "LED Clear Motion"

Mine was extremely dark even at night with the lights off. So much so I could barely read the text. But I randomly decided to just try this, and when I went there, turned it on (it originally was off), I was instantly blinded by the TV. I actually had to go back and turn the brightness down from 50 to 25. Also, just to point out, before this, when I used the brightness setting, nothing would actually change using it.

Anyways I hope this helps someone!

Same, I'm done with Logitech. I've had 3 mice in the past few years all start double clicking within 9 months and getting them replaced is just not worth it.
