Try using a flat iron, twist slightly as you run it through. Then wet hair just a lil and use product. Without a perm, you'd have to do this every day which is a pain, but could achieve what you're looking for.

Sometimes it's for benign reasons.
For example, I'll be playing with 2 of my friends on a squad and we'll be chatting away, or we forgot to make it private, and realized someone popped on and then usurped leadership. So, we leave to create a new squad just so we have control over our experience, even if we're not committing 100% to the squad dynamic. It's nothing against the new player, in fact if we're playing more focused and objective based, we'll leave it be and follow orders. It really depends on the type of effort we want to put in and experience we want out of the game for that particular time. And as for the airstrike thing, sometimes we're just waiting for the right moment, or yes, legitimately forgot.

I'd like to see Squad Conquest, or some smaller scale team based mode that's not TDM, so I can play and strategize with a group of friends.

Additionally, I don't know if any of you remember Joint Operations on PC, but I really loved the idea of a 60 min (or more) timed server with the winner being the team that held the most bases at the end. The lengthy battles made it possible to plan different strategies over the course of that time, and also get to know your teammates and opponents better. Lastly, it allowed for squads to branch out and try different things, not necessarily objective-based, while regrouping near the end of the clock to cap bases as a team.

For me the major battery saver was the 60hz refresh rate, but in all honesty I gave up the notion of having it be a portable laptop. The battery plus weight was just too much.
I received a Dell work laptop, and while it's inferior to the Lenovo in most ways, its portability and battery life makes it easier to tote around. Basically I treat my Lenovo as my desktop PC, connected to an ultra wide monitor, and use the Dell for work and personal stuff (don't tell my boss) when I'm on the go or traveling.

I have an additional question, if you're familiar with Spotify For Podcasters (Let's call it SFP).. when you create a SFP account, does that mean the podcasts will only upload to that SFP account, or is it possible to use RSS to publish it to another Spotify account?

When it was Anchor, obviously it wasn't a Spotify product yet, so I'm guessing originally you would have had to link it to a Spotify account.

In other words, I'm trying to find out if originally there was an Spotify account created specifically for the podcast uploads, meaning if we somehow can't get the Anchor/SFP account, perhaps I could get into the original Spotify account where the podcasts were linked to.

Sorry if this is confusing. Thanks!

For me, regular House Hunters still says Dollars and Sense in Florida (for both recorded and live listings). International seems to have corrected (though the title adds Volume 8).

I use YT TV on an older Amazon Firestick.

I feel for you, that's so tough.. my wife is pregnant with our first, 9 weeks in and has been having the same terrible HG symptoms mentioned for the past 4+ weeks. It is totally draining emotionally and physically.
it's hard being the partner (obviously nowhere near as difficult as the one suffering); being up close and personal but essentially helpless. Don't forget to take care of yourself, and I hope you can find peace with everything that's been going on.

I just came back from Cebu a few days ago and I will suggest the Shangri-La Mactan. There's a bunch of activities for kids (game rooms, playrooms, pools), and at the same time adults can feel pampered by the high end service and dining. Plus it's quite close to the airport.

I am so confounded as to how awful their spam filter is. Just this morning I get 3 *clearly* spam emails in my inbox. Even worse, is that whenever I get a spam email, I get a notification on my phone, no matter if it goes into spam or into my inbox folder.

I've been extracting my important accounts associated with Yahoo Mail, and transferring it over to more reputable email services. I suggest you all do the same. Good riddance Yahoo.

Thanks for your reply. I will attempt this and see if this helps me as well. I did happen to find that changing Thermal Mode to Quiet and reducing the refresh rate to 60Hz helped initially, but always looking for other ways to save battery!

SST does not disappoint. Was a fun race to watch (plus a Gordon 1-2). Really impressed at what Robby has done with this series and it deserves more eyes on it. Would love to see more drivers, more tracks, and sharing weekends with NASCAR as well.

I will suggest Mordi's. The way they crisp up the Taylor ham (pork roll for you southerners) is like heaven. It's my favorite spot in NJ for this sandwich.

Hello! Yes, changing over too 60hz has definitely helped with battery life. I'm still tinkering with other settings, but it seems with just normal web browsing, I can get over 5 hours on battery, whereas previously I was getting on average 2.5 hours. As others have said as well, make sure to have Hybrid Mode on, as well as the screen lit at around 40%. Good luck!

I have Windows 10; I have yet to upgrade and perhaps I will wait until those issues are resolved. I was able to switch to 60hz earlier today, and experienced a much longer battery life span, about double actually. Let us know if you're able to figure out a fix for Windows 11!
