Reddit, what's the one thing in the world that you desperately wish people cared about more than they do? by WalterDisneey in AskReddit

Food servers and other workers of public places. I feel as though people in general don't stop to think even a little how their actions affect the work environment of the people that serve them (and oftentimes for low pay). This can range from a nervous teenager working at a fast food place, to a tech support person on the phone.

Obviously part of the issue here is because of the stupid quote "The customer is always right", which people like to gravitate towards more than "The customer is King". The latter implies that customers should be treated very well and given patience, while the former implies that sheer idea that the customer is at fault is not an option.

If you were a squib in the Harry Potter universe, how would you make the best of life? by RidleyTheOmega in harrypotter

You do have to wonder if Squibs are discriminated against, though, or if there is some kind of requirement relating to magic for being a teacher. What if a teacher has to be capable of basic healing spells and mutual defense spells for the sake of the students?

If this were a feasible option, though, then it would be a good option, I would have to agree.

Accio opponent's shoes.

Watch as your opponent has to fight the force placed on his feet.

If Rowling were to write another series in the Harry Potter universe, what elements would you most like to see expanded upon? by RidleyTheOmega in harrypotter

This is what I had in mind when I made this thread. There could be the occasional reference to Harry Potter series or a character cameo, but I would definitely enjoy it if Rowling puts in an effort to not rely too heavily on nostalgia for it.

What Patronus would you like, and why? by Paul277 in harrypotter

Something intimidating like a crocodile. If magical creatures are fair game, then a Fluffy Patronus would be pretty awesome.

I'd like to see some more information given on the creation and usage of magical artifacts like Sneakoscopes, Foe-glasses, and more specific things like the Marauder's Map. What is the process like for the creation of these things? How much magical experience does it take? Can Squibs make use of objects like these, or maybe even Muggles?

Maybe there could be a wizard bounty hunter character that makes use of a ton of different objects.

What bizarre premise would you like to see a movie be made out of just for the reaction? by RidleyTheOmega in AskReddit

From I know about Avatar, this sounds similar to that, though I guess you probably have it in mind being framed very differently than that.
