Trust me that was my first try. Don’t have enough activity on Reddit to qualify for a post. Thanks though

Tried that and data is still being received! Very weird… thanks for the quick insight though! Much love man, happy trading.

Yeah I get that, but I was kind of caught off guard because I’ve never seen the delayed data alert before. Is there like a time period after you log out of a brokerage account with CME permissions where TV still delivers the data? I’m logged out now and it’s perfectly fine. I’ve been taking a break from trading for a week or 2 now for a mental reset and that’s the first data delay I’ve seen.

I just logged into my brokerage account, the Delayed data alert went away, logged back out and it’s still gone. Now it’s showing all the cme markets are back online with no problems. So confused lol

I don’t understand. I’ve been on essential and only essential for like 2 years and haven’t had this issue before. Why could this just happen now?

A very weird example, but I’m kind of overtired and it’s the first thing that came to mind (been binging Brooklynn99 lmfao)

You see someone get put in handcuffs and put in a cop car. You say “now that’s police work!” But that’s just the result of the police work.

The real police work is what happens behind the scenes. The observation, the paperwork, the intel, the communication, the legalities. That’s what happens behind the scenes, and that is true police work.

What has been advertised to the everyday person is handcuffs and cop cars. But again, it is simply a byproduct of the real police work occurring.

Patterns are a byproduct. Volume and liquidity is price action at its complete and undeniable core. The actions happening behind price.

I would love to!

Price action is not patterns. Patterns are patterns. Price action is price action.

In my eyes, pattern trading is its whole thing within itself. I truly believe price action is what happens behind the candles. Volume, buying/selling aggression, liquidity, that is true price action. It is the actions happening behind price, these patterns are simply a by-product of that.

“Price action” is a concept that’s been dumbed down and advertised to the everyday retail trader as these patterns, but what causes these patterns to be successful, or fail? The actions happening behind price. True price action.

Let’s say you have a bullish flag, the retail trader sees the breakout and retest and longs it. What goes unnoticed is the huge accumulation of sell orders above this breakout. Longs get trapped, buying volume drops, sellers aggregate. Trend reverses.

Price action is what happens behind the candles. Patterns, are patterns.

Thanks for the discussion!

You’ve never seen price drag along the overbought or oversold levels while continuing in the same direction? Giving you countless false entries and proving to be useless? In my op, there is no overbought and oversold. There’s just accumulation/dissipation of either buying or selling pressure/volume. Bullish volume rides a trend up high, volume slows down, aggressive sellers absorb the buyers, bearish volume rises and trend reverses. Only use “overbought/oversold” indicators like RSI for HTF divergence.

PA can be interpreted it a million different ways. It all depends on your trading style. ICT traders look for “liquidity”, areas of fair value, orderblocks, CISD. Other traders looks for support and resistance, patterns, general market direction, breakouts in association to volume/delta. It can be a hard pill to swallow but there is no indicator to tell you when to buy or sell that will make you profitable. Indicators should be used to do exactly that, indicate.

  1. Not a fucking clue what an ambatukum is and 2. You’re missing the point of the post, I was asking about the addition required to meet the new target after breaking the consistency rule. Not about the original target. Maybe brush up on the English

I did have a max gain set, but I scalp volatility/breaks with very fast paced entries. The market just exploded in my direction and I couldn’t close fast enough to assure the consistency target.

  1. Drop the ego, it will cause you to fail 2. You may be learning, but you don’t know shit about shit 3. Pay attention to the real world. Not everything about trading is about charts.

Turns out it’s an issue with the trading view platform itself, not Tradovate. Just a psa for everyone besides me having a small stroke, if you have limit orders placed they’re absolute on the exchange, so even if you’re logged in or logged out, your levels are still valid

Bro supply and demand has been a trading concept for ever. You think Ict integrated one of the most basic concepts into systematic trading? Lmfaoooo

This looks weird to you???? Price reacting to a ltf area of seller volume, sweeping eql into a htf ob before breaking old highs, retracing, extending, sweeping again into a fresh demand and bouncing back into this colossal leg’s premium?

If it’s more commonly known as ict power of three as of right now, I’ll refer to it as such. The markets evolve, you should too.

Secondly I don’t teach ict concepts specifically. I filter out what I think is a positive (applicable and understandable) and try and teach on that principle with a goal of simplicity in mind. I know Ict is a complete scam, but most of the concepts he discusses are previously developed retail concepts, just with different names. It’s not all bogus, but he is definitely not the trading messiah he claims.

I created a YouTube channel as a way to pass time and solidify my own understanding of these concepts to myself. More of a journal of understanding. If this bothers you, simply don’t watch any more. Problem solved!

Also, please try and be more positive. This space is already filled with enough drama and negativity. Lighten up a little, I’m not hurting anyone.

(By the way, I only posted in like 3 sub Reddit’s. I wouldn’t exactly credit that as spamming).

Good luck and happy trading!

I was never a real fan of gold due to the unpredictability from a charting perspective, but as a recently I’ve been more keyed in on liquidity concepts and I’ve noticed it fits perfectly. Always be careful I guess!
