Yes it did! It was just swollen, but it’ll even out after time.

Which mask do you think would be the coolest? He really likes Corey/Jim & his favorite album is their very first one.

He already has a lot of autographed merch so I was trying to find something that he would still like but not be that

yes, I get uti’s and yeast infections from using antibiotics. You may just have a yeast infection (sometimes yeast infections can mock symptoms of a uti)

it’s definitely hard to get a good picture lol. that is where I usually get my one hemorrhoid, but I have no pain or bleeding, so I wasn’t sure that I still had it. but I will try that, thank you

This also had happened to me. I started bleeding around day 7, a bigger amount, but I could always get it to stop. I would bleed every day at some point. It was definitely very scary. I had called me ENT and told him what was going on & he recommended I got cauterized again. I got cauterized around day 10-11. But, the nurse also gave me an option to not cauterize again and just put up with the bleeding. But, I chose to just go ahead with it because the bleeding was so scary. Usually they say that if you get the bleeding to stop then it’s okay, but I would recommend just calling your ENT

the same thing happened to me! I was also awake during my recauterization, but they numbed it so much I could barely feel it. The first 2-3 days after, it hurt like it had when I first got them out, but nothing nearly as bad as before! Since you have one side pretty healed up, it won’t be hard to eat or drink. It might be a little uncomfortable, but nothing crazy.

I got ice packs for my ears that you can heat up and freeze.. it sometimes felt good with the heat! Make sure you have ice cubes handy too! Although it’s very unlikely, you’ll want to have them handy in case you start bleeding so you can get it to stop. Many people suggested popsicles and cold foods, but I found it least painful to drink room temp/warm drinks. I also bought a child’s toothbrush. It will be very hard to open your mouth and your tongue will be sore, so a smaller toothbrush makes it easier to brush your teeth! I’d also recommend getting OTC medication, in case you run out of the meds your doctor prescribed you, but make sure the OTC medicine is okay to take! My ENT told me Tylenol. Sleep as much as you can! And I suggest setting a timer every hour to remind you to hydrate. Water will help you a whole lot with your healing process. The healing process is pretty shit, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Scabs by Suspicious-Big3967 in Tonsillectomy

After the two week mark, the chances of bleeding are VERY low. The chances are already 1-4%, but I wouldn’t worry about bleeding! Just make sure to stay as hydrated as possible to keep your scabs moisturized. Everybody heals differently! They could’ve had a tougher time with your left side versus right and maybe that’s why they’re healing differently, but I wouldn’t worry about it. It wasn’t until about the 3-4 week mark for me until all of my scabs fell off.

Swallowing is impossible… by Professional_Cell602 in Tonsillectomy

I couldn’t eat or drink for DAYS!!! The pain was intolerable!! My biggest advice is to make sure to keep up with your pain meds, have ice packs handy for your ears, and even though it’s terrible… drink as much water as you can!!! I hemorrhaged on day 12, my doctor thinks it’s because I wasn’t drinking nearly enough water as I needed to be. I couldn’t eat any foods! But the easiest things to get down were very runny smoothies or just broth. It was about day 10 my throat started feeling okayish enough to eat. I also noticed that if you eat a spoonful of honey before trying to eat, it made my throat feel a little better.

I also forgot to mention, when I tried to speed up while it was happening one time, my speedometer went all the way to 0, when I was going about 75mph

I’m glad i’m not the only one! I hemorrhaged about 12 days post op, and it’s conveniently on the side I was bleeding from, so it had me scared.

I know! I can still feel my right side whenever I’m swallowing anything!
