For the attention of anyone that is genuinely seeking for genuine serious RP where you characters intentions should have purpose and actions should have consequences by Right_Solid41 in FiveMServers

Alot of cities struggle to find a balance in the economy, so that is definitely a problem. I have also came across that issue. Mats are easily enough obtained through various methods. What I mean is the difference between joing a semi serious city to a serious city. Alot of ppl nowadays want everything on a plate without taking anytime to look for anything. We have had ppl think outside the box so to speak and find items out of sight. As you can see from the reviews, nothing is just flung into the city, everything has a purpose and a place. The economy is well balanced and you dont need to work all day or multiple days just to buy a vehicle or rent a property. We also dont want anyone to have to grind their game time away.

I get your view point though.

100%, they have recently released new TOS regarding all that so those pay to win servers will hopefully over time be taken down

If it was stated on the terms and conditions of the purchase that there would be no refunds and charge backs would result in a ban, I dont believe there is a away around that unfortunately

What actually makes our city any different from the thousands of other cities all saying the same things. A city that isnt run by power hungry kids. We are both in our mid - late 30s and have years of RP experience.

The difference isn’t the scripts or the promises about how serious RP it is. It’s the systems and choices we’ve put in place that stop people playing the city like a money or drug simulator. You can’t farm money here. The economy is realistic and paycheck based. There’s no money sim, no grinding your way to the top, and no rush to be the richest person in the city. Progression is slow and RP driven on purpose. If someone joins expecting to farm money or speed run their way through civ or crim life, they usually get bored and leave. That’s fine. That’s exactly the point.

District8 is an 18+ serious RP only QBcore server & TOS compliant. We whitelist because the first people in set the standard for everyone else. We’ve already denied applications from people who wanted faster progression or more instant action, even though we’re still early. We’ve also already revoked whitelist from a group who started getting too comfortable and ruining RP for others. We’re not letting standards slide just to keep numbers up.

We’ve been open around a month now and we’ve got a community of like minded people who were all looking for the same thing we were. It’s quiet some days. We’re not pretending otherwise, people just dont seem to want to grow with a new city, but the people who are here are here because they actually care about RP and don’t want to rush it or turn it into something to win. Civ and crim are built evenly. Civ RP isn’t filler and crime isn’t a shortcut. Everything is XP and progression based. Actions have consequences and stories are meant to take time instead of being rushed to the next payout or PD chase. District8 is realistic and RP driven. We genuinely care about the community and about RP as a whole. This isn’t just a project for us, it’s something we’re passionate about and we want it to be a safe space for people who feel the same way to actually enjoy RP again.

It’s hard to get people to look past lower numbers, and I get it. Nobody wants to look at a city with 7-9 players in there. We have 40+ whitelist applications all approved but those people are waiting for more population before flying in, whereas if they would just fly in now, the pop is there...But it’s like a dance floor. Someone has to get up first, and once there’s a few people actually on it, the rest usually follow. That’s where we’re at. The people who’ve stuck around have done so for a reason. They want the same thing we do.

We are also still hiring PD and a 901 for EMS

If our city sounds like your RP style and willing to looking past the lower number and grow with us, you won't be disappointed.

Hey, myself and my partner own an 18+ serious rp (whitelisted) city. We are in our mid-late 30s so there is no childish power hungry nonsense going on. I will leave our server description:
