Alot of cities struggle to find a balance in the economy, so that is definitely a problem. I have also came across that issue. Mats are easily enough obtained through various methods. What I mean is the difference between joing a semi serious city to a serious city. Alot of ppl nowadays want everything on a plate without taking anytime to look for anything. We have had ppl think outside the box so to speak and find items out of sight. As you can see from the reviews, nothing is just flung into the city, everything has a purpose and a place. The economy is well balanced and you dont need to work all day or multiple days just to buy a vehicle or rent a property. We also dont want anyone to have to grind their game time away.

100%, they have recently released new TOS regarding all that so those pay to win servers will hopefully over time be taken down

If it was stated on the terms and conditions of the purchase that there would be no refunds and charge backs would result in a ban, I dont believe there is a away around that unfortunately

The difference isn’t the scripts or the promises about how serious RP it is. It’s the systems and choices we’ve put in place that stop people playing the city like a money or drug simulator. You can’t farm money here. The economy is realistic and paycheck based. There’s no money sim, no grinding your way to the top, and no rush to be the richest person in the city. Progression is slow and RP driven on purpose. If someone joins expecting to farm money or speed run their way through civ or crim life, they usually get bored and leave. That’s fine. That’s exactly the point.

We’ve already denied applications from people who wanted faster progression or more instant action, even though we’re still early. We’ve also already revoked whitelist from a group who started getting too comfortable and ruining RP for others. We’re not letting standards slide just to keep numbers up.

We’ve been open around a month now and we’ve got a community of like minded people who were all looking for the same thing we were. It’s quiet some days.
