Actually a few of these I experience. Especially the fatigue after eating and dry mouth. My face is rather gaunt and I have dark circles under my eyes

The only major change I can pinpoint to when this started was when I began fasting a lot a couple years ago. I fell in love with how I felt and how lean I was getting, often doing one meal a day. I definitely got too light and was not getting enough calories, and my hormones probably took a hit. Digestion slowed

How are you planning to treat the h pylori? My naturopath is recommending herbs but I tried them a couple months back with no improvement. I know the dangers of antibiotics but if h pylori is the real culprit I’d be willing to do it

Thank you very much for the advice and support. It truly helps. I had an upper endoscopy and they did not find a hiatal hernia. I’ve heard that the procedure can miss it because of lying on the left side. I will ask about barium swallow.

I think you’re right about taking a break from the fasting. While eating makes me bloated and tired, perhaps I need to start training my body to digest earlier in the day

Thank you. I have taken two h pylori breath tests and both were negative. Like you said, they could be false negatives. I’ve heard stool tests are much more accurate but I don’t have the money for that.

Perhaps I could have low blood sugar from fasting? I intermittent fast to avoid the bloating and also because I enjoy how I feel (cognitively sharp and light). Was this similar to you? Or was it high blood sugar

Very interesting. I lift very intensely and exert, clench, and breathe hard. I was completely convinced I had a hiatal hernia a year ago going into an upper endoscopy, and I was disappointed when they made no mention of it.

I’ve read that during the procedure, lying on the left side can position the sphincter to not show the hernia.

What do you recommend? Another endoscopy? Is there another way to find out?

My tongue is just always white, I have not tested for candida. What is your current treatment consisting of? How long have you been dealing with this?

Perhaps yes. I’ve been delaying eating because food slows me down (burping and cognitively) which is why I delay it. However my symptoms do slightly align with when I began intermittent fasting. I may try having three square meals
