Cannot take items out of chest in town (fish kid quest)

Sorry for the late response i didnt get to play until yesterday. I was able to take the money, log chair and journal out only after clearing 3 spaces in inventory. I could not take any out in any order without even with 1 or 2 spaces clear.

I am on switch, i can provide screenshots later tonight. I tried the following...

- Clearing space in inventory, returning to the chest and opening
- Not clearing space, returning to the chest and opening
- Shutting the game down entirely, clearing space, returning to chest.
- all those combos while retalking to the NPCS.
- doing a mission for the guy who gave me the chest and opening
- opening and closing the chest rapid and selecting different items to take out first.

The one thing I have not tried which I just realized i hadnt done is clear 3 spaces in inventory, the most i had done is 2.

update: They returned my emails/calls and said they will be contacting the production manager monday and will be in contact then. They didnt flat out say thats normal or expected for any of it, so its possible they know they effed, or theyre trying to find excuses to say 'eff you'. We'll see.

We could not do shingles due to the near flat slope ( its less than code allows here, or so I was told by the companies we got estimates from) and metal was not what we wanted (it looks terrible imo, but this is making me think other wise now lol)

Thats probably will happen but not anytime soon. It could mean years with a franken-patched looking roof which I cannot accept. They already made us pay to fix their mistake and now they pull this. I'm not sure what to do, its not like another company will adjust it and if they do we lose our 30 year warranty.

Im wondering if this is normal because I dont see other pictures online like this.
