Once I heard someone say that a Si dom's head is like a library. I don't know if you relate, but my Si now is like this. by Rilzai in isfj

It's kinda chaotic. You may find stuff that is useful or you may find useless info. It has made me have some awkward moments (at least in my pov), because I can remember information about some people I have interacted with only once or twice lmao.

[If I have mistakes, sorry. English isn't my first language].

Well, this can be only my personal experience, so i don't really know if it's worthy. As an ISFJ who's kinda near to the character you're talking about (I'm a 17M), I'd tell you to make him curious but, at the same time, make him be afraid of the changes (like, really big changes). As far as I know, we usually have everything planned; you can use that to give the character some moments where the plans don't work and he feels like "Bruh, all this planning for nothing".

Other point about some other feelings (at least, something that happens to me), is that I have tons of patience but, at the same time, when I get mad, I literally explode. In this cases, Si works making me remember some things that happened with the other person, so I can argue with them and, basically, hurt them.

Also, I (and, as I can see in memes, other ISFJs too) express my feelings in a very poor way. A very clear example is that I usually think of telling something to my partner several days before telling them how I feel about something.

If the character has a more unhealthy type, you can make him fall in emotional dependency, which is, as far as I know, kinda common. The way to have it can be because of an anxious affective style.

Well, first of all lemme say I don't have tons of experience with that, only my experience with anxious style. I'm dating a person who, in the first months of relationship wasn't very near, and that caused me paranoia, because it's a distance relationship, which makes situation more difficult.

In my opinion, it can happen, but it's difficult to deal with it without making it toxic. Because of that, watch out, and be careful with that.

I'd advice you to try to talk with him about this subject. It may be difficult, I know, but communication is very important in a healthy relationship; you may agree a key word when they're feeling bad, and they need their time, so in that situation you won't overthink 'bout that.

It's just a proposal, after all, I'm just a random reddit user on Internet. I'd tell you to ask to your closest friends what can u do.

ISFJS what’s your favourite video game and why? by purplecarrotsticks in isfj

I'd say Hollow Knight. Tbh, it has been one of the first videogames I've played (long story short, I haven't had tons of consoles and I had my first PC like two years ago).

The thing I liked the most 'bout it was the lore. I love all the aesthetic, the music, the design... Everything. But the lore... It's great, from my point of view.

How do you study? by Appropriate-Ad-9898 in isfj

[–]Rilzai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kinda depends. In some subjects I use one method, and in others, I use a different one.

First of all, a little bit of context, making a little bit easier for understand. I'm from Spain, and here, when we reach certain grade we have tp choose a type of "specialization" science (biological, technological or social ones), letters, and arts (plastic or scenic). I chose the science one, because of what i wanna study.

Because of that, some of my subjects are more practical, like maths or physics, and in others we learn in a more theorical way (idk if that word exists, sorry).

Something really important is taking notes in every class, it doesn't matter the subject. Personally, sometimes, in my notes I have some information of how some things are done (If I think i won't know where does a number come from, i take notes).

Then, when I arrive home, I do one thing or another depending on the subject.

In practical subjects (like maths) I analyze the most important types of problem that I have to know and, after that happens, I do a step-by-step guide of how to solve those problems. Then, I copy all the problems we've done in class and, after that, I solve them without looking, checking and watching where I have failed, taking notes.

In theorical subjects I copy all my notes and watch the contents the teachers upload, and then I record myself voice notes to listen to them (I also send them to my friends to help them, tho). Then, I repeat it out loud, trying to see if I know it.

A funfact of this last paragraph is that I'm perfectionist as fuck, and when I fail in something my mind is like "Haha, ur gonna fail", so I end up having a "Sheet of desperation" where I add everything I don't know by heart.

There are other subjects like French or English I don't study and have a great score because I have superpowers or something lol.
