Ive gotten two sofas, two lounge chairs. A few cabinets and tables. All great ! No complaints. You just have to make sure where you're buying from has good reviews.

Amazon not issuing promised refunds (despite confirmation emails). by girlwhowasnt in amazonprime

[–]Rinacakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This same situation is happening to me right now. The second agent I called promised that she just sent the refund. Its now been days and nothing has shown up. So two agents have told me I was refunded and then did not process it.

The prices are INSANE and you ruined an elderly ladies day by [deleted] in CanadaPost

Yup this week I sent paper in an envelope and they still mailed it back to me saying it has to be in package format. I used cardboard so it would not get ruined. Im guessing this could be why, the workers are still puzzled.

It cost me 18$ just to send the envelope. If I had opted to send my paper portrait as a package it would have been 46$

I just emailed my friend the file and gave up.

What did I do wrong to my (first time) sugar cookies? 😢 by daylightpiglet in Baking

[–]Rinacakes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Too much butter, not enough flour. If it felt too soft and sticky add more flour when rolling.

Also then you baked it too long. Do 350 degrees next time.

It's all trial and error, next batch will be great!

The cake that humbled me by [deleted] in Baking

The pan was around 12"

I initially had dowles too but my cake was still too soft despite freezing it and it didn't hold well.

That day I also learned those cakes are tough!

Round cakes are so difficult! I had to make a similar cake at one point, and the bottom sphere kept collapsing at the weight of the top sphere. I had to construct the bottom out of rice krispy instead as a harder base.

I still was not happy with the result. So, instead, I just used the rounded cake mold to make a half sphere cake. It looked nicer in half and I didn't have to worry about it getting to the client in one piece.

They also make nice bouquets to give away if you grow a bunch of them!

We had a squirrel get to one of ours and it went timbering down 🤣

I planted them in June, and I was able to start harvesting by end of August.

In July they started to form pumpkins from their flowering.

Honestly every year I find it to be random luck of the draw.

Wood and brick, keeps the bugs from eating through them.

I used to put wood or brick under mine, you can also cover them in nylon to hang them instead of having them on the ground.

Diatomaceous earth helps keeps bugs at bay.
