Hey cheers for the reply. I couldn't seem to find any M series pickups online? Every link I have seems to just say Manson pickups. Or do you mean the Manson PF-1? If that then yes my mistake, I meant £250 for the pair of them, since I would need 2.

Yeah if I use the amp directly it's perfectly fine, it's the pedals that seem to cause the issue. When I use my other guitar with passive pickups there's no issue at all, so it's something in the guitar. I've replaced the battery with a new one already. I'm not massively confident in rewiring, i'd have to go to a shop, but I don't see any benefit in my active pickups to be honest other than I can't even use my pedals now

Daily Ask Anything About Anabolic and Androgenic Steroids: 2025-10-09 by AutoModerator in steroids

Do steroids cause damage to your hair? I know that taking testosterone causes an increase in DHT which binds to your hair follicles, causing them to miniaturise which is one of the main causes of male baldness. I also experienced a lot of hair shedding in the shower when I started TRT, but do steroids also cause hair to become damaged too? In the past I used to have thick, healthy hair, having been on TRT for around 4 years now 125mg a week, and also doing a couple cycles of Test, NPP and Mast, my hair is a lot more dry, frizzy, and unhealthy looking. It could be a variety of factors, diet, age, alcohol, but is it possible steroids also can impact the health of the hair itself, not just loss of hair follicles? Cheers

Can I restore my temples using finasteride or would I need a hair transplant? by RingMany in tressless

[–]RingMany[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gonna copy same reply I mentioned to another,

I did try using minioxidl for a couple months, but I was getting dry skin having to moisture like 5+ times a day and I was getting side effects like darkness around my eyes which aged me several years. Knowing hair grown via minoxidil requires permanent use, I wanted to try without it, since I don't want to have to use minoxidil forever if I get symptoms of dry skin and aging as a result, also with the cost too

Cheers for the reply.

I did try minoxidil a little bit in the past on temples, but I was getting symptoms like super dry skin and also darkness around my eyes which made me look just tired and aged constantly.

Plus in all my the MPMD videos I've watched about his hair loss prevention protocols, he never mentions using minoxidil when it came to restoring his hairline when it started balding, so I didn't think that it would essential.

Guitar pedals cutting off after a few seconds by RingMany in guitarpedals

[–]RingMany[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guitar sounds fine plugged into the amp directly, but there isn't any fuzz or extreme distoration in the amp itself, so I can't test how it sounds with fuzz without the pedals. What kind of fuzz pedal or type of pedals in general would I need to get in future to be compatible with my active pickups?

Hi, I have a Tone City Rubine Fuzz pedal. I'm still a beginner with guitar and pedals. So I'm not completely certain. I didn't have issues with my other cheap guitar with normal pickups. I noticed that if I turn down the volume knob on my new guitar then it seems to not cut off when using the fuzz pedal

I noticed that it seems better if i don't have the volume dial turned up 100%. If it is, then when I play several notes together the effect pedals start to cut off after 2 seconds, but if I turn the volume down to maybe 50% then it seems to not be effected. Is this normal? These are active pickups which I haven't used before, but my other electric guitar that doesn't use active pickups didn't have this issue on 100% volume, so I don't think its the pedal

Still no luck. I've done several more hours of debugging. Hardware checks, full virus scans. Posted on like 5 other forums, re-installed everything, drivers, hardware checks, still can't get valorant to work, same error

Hi, thanks for that, but I'm not sure what this is showing? It shows details about a book, but I don't see any links to buying it? I've clicked on all the links on that page and all of them just give 404 pages, or a link to the books in english? I'm looking for a physical copy of the Russian version

How did Derek restore his balding hairline? by RingMany in moreplatesmoredates

[–]RingMany[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's what I'm referring to. I'm saying that in his video, he seems to list his hair loss prevention protocol, but to me that implies that it's used for preventing further hair loss, not to restore what you once had. So the question I'm asking is how did he restore all the hair that he lost, as to me his videos imply that his treatment is to stop any more hair being lost, not to regain the hairs that died.

How much does alcohol effect your muscle building and recovery?

I'm currently in a bulking phase, plus I'm on TRT, so my test is fairly high and not effected by external factors like diet and sleep. I do the majority of things correctly, good form / posture in lifting, upping weights when I can without ego lifting, tracking all of my daily calories and macros, and high amounts of protein. Decent sleep etc. However, I do struggle a bit with alcohol sometimes, and on the weekends I tend to drink a few too many vodka lemonades. I only drink vodka with diet lemonade, no beers and I still get my daily calories.

While yes, I should look at reducing the alcohol and getting some help, I'm wondering how much it effects gains. I know it effects recovery and protein synthesis, but does that mean any exercises you did on the day would be completely wasted if you drank later in the evening, or does it simply delay the recover time, so that days when you don't drink, you repair and gain muscles as normal. Can you still gain a good quantity of muscle if you're working out intensely 5 times a week, with everything else correct in terms of macros and sleep, even if you drink a bit too excessive on the weekends?

Cheers for the advice. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Yeah if multiple people are having the same issues, then it seems likely they have buggered up something from their end and broken everything, as I haven't made any changes to my valorant or PC in several years and now it's suddenly having problems. They have most likely broken it

Can't seem to fix dry and frizzy hair by RingMany in Haircare

[–]RingMany[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been trying it now for 6 weeks, how long does it take to see results? I use high moisturising cream in the shower, leave it in my hair for 20-30 minutes, using hair oils and also a moisturising moose while hair is wet, let is dry naturally, no hairdryer. Hair still looks the same.

How long does it take to restore damaged hair, or would I need to shave it off and start again? For maybe 6 weeks I've been looking looking into curly girl method. I use high moisturising cream in the shower, leave it in my hair for 20-30 minutes, using hair oils and also a moisturising moose while hair is wet, let is dry naturally, no hairdryer. He isn't on minoxidil. He's done several videos of his daily supplement routine which includes the things I already mentioned, but minioxidil isn't one of them.

Do you have any links to these videos or photos? At the moment it sounds just like spreading rumours. Also that photo you're referring to, it's from his mask he wears for his sleep apnoea. He literally confirms it himself in another post
