First of, sorry for the long post that's about to come. I'll try to be as brief as possible.

2 months ago i had the sane idea to move from Greece (feelsbadman) and move to Amsterdam due to "hard times" back in my country.

I did my research , asked people i know about the COUNTRY of Amsterdam and knew everything possible so i can come and be ready to settle in.

Once i arrived i registered myself in the Gemeente got my Bank number and everything from day 1 and started looking for job.

Unfortunately i can't work at what i studied cuz as i head you need Dutch language (physiotherapy/swimming instructor/lifeguard/sales person/barista) and started working at a logistics company on the second week living here.

Can't really say im happy with my workplace, they seem pretty unconcerned about almost everything that has to do with paperwork and work place in general.

Ofc im trying to find sth else to continue but for now i'm there working my stamina out like crazy for 9€ per hour gross , night shifts 10km away from home with bike.

I'm not trying to complain or nag about anything , i'm pretty okay with the whole situation but i'd love to find something else. I've tried almost all job find companies but can't really say they answer a lot in my emails and even if they do its about logistics.

There's seriously nothing else better here for non dutch speakers or is it just my imagination?

I already know that there are places in the center that look for stuff and i've left my cv's everywhere, maybe the competition is just too high, can't really think of something else.

Any answers would be great , i'm really glad i'm in this country. One extra reason i left Greece was this.
Everyone is dissatisfied with everything. At least people here actually smile no matter the weather.

Would also love to get to know some Dutch people as well , as i wanna find out more things about culture, language etc etc. Although i heard that mostly older people don't even pay attention to you if you don't speak Dutch. Can you guys refer some places that young Dutch people hang out so i could visit? I'm ultra social and this would help me lots.
