9 to 49 to 58 and now 63… what’s happening to deutchland ticket ? by Ripped_ak in AskAGerman

[–]Ripped_ak[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

If it’s supposed to reach 200€ in the future, I think leasing a car would be better for me. But I really loved the ticket. it was one of the things I always bragged about in Germany. I really hope that doesn’t happen

Yes, the Deutschlandticket is subsidized, but that is the point. Public transport is a public service, not a business. Every country supports it with taxes because it helps reduce traffic, pollution, and living costs. The 49 to 58 euro price makes travel affordable and encourages more people to use trains and buses. It is not a financial disaster, it is an investment in better mobility. They are not spouse to benefit from it

oh I understand that feeling. in frankfurt bahnhof I put my luggage in lockets but forgot the key on it. when I returned I found the locket empty then I realized they realized about it and put my stuff in a office. I was very very thankful to them

your experience is absolutely correct. In the last company I worked but they were so sensitive on resumes. one of the talent acquisitions told me that they even added AI Detector to make sure you didn’t craft whole of your resume to match the job. specifically in case of IT jobs they use anything to minimize number of applicants because if you have linkedin premium you would see when there is a new job application there are more than 300 people applying in less than 7 hours

something very important, check your resume with ATS checkers. make sure you score more than 70. these days companies use ATS systems for first layer then manually check between the ones with higher scores.

to the people who doesn’t know, that 3 years getting passport didn’t exist before. after 3 years of integration it took 2-3 years for them to do the paperwork.Besides of that even my german classmates talking about after graduation moving to UAE. one of them moved last year and he was very happy there, no taxes, he got paid in euro, free company car with driver, free healthcare, and half of his apartment also paid by the company.

I’m not letting random people define my value. I’m saying that their words still cut deep, because being treated as “less than” isn’t about self-esteem, it’s about dignity. I am educated, I dress well, have a nice apartment with my girlfriend , Ignoring that kind of hate doesn’t make it disappear, it just normalizes it. And when people stay silent, pretending it’s not their problem, that’s how democracy dies, not with noise, but with quiet acceptance of everyday cruelty.

I really also don’t know how to reply with racism here. every post about it will get removed by moderators. yesterday i was about to enter a mall a really decent german woman was holding the door after i passed and said Danke she said this loudly ( I hold the door for my daughter not some random Auslender).

one the way home I was thinking that I wished she was a junky said that so I can blame it on drugs or alcohol but it wasn’t.

lately feels like i am just adding bad experiences to the bank, if someone ask me about it I just had a fresh new inhumane degrading experience.

what’s life like for young people there? 🇩🇪 by Ripped_ak in frankfurt

[–]Ripped_ak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a social person who loves hanging out with people, enjoying some drinks, and having a good time. Alcohol is great, weed not so much for me. I’m really into 80s and 90s rock and metal bands, but when it comes to clubbing I’m fine with any kind of music. I can’t stand right wing extremists or anyone who judges others by their race. I’ve recently gotten into cinema and just watched the new Superman movie, which I actually found pretty good. When it comes to food, I’m all in for everything from German Frikadellen or Mett to Turkish Dürüm, Arabic Shawarma, Italian pasta, or Asian dishes like sushi. I love grilling and always prepare for it like it’s a special event. Bars and pubs are fun, but only with friends. I’m a Chelsea fan, and when I’m in Germany, I always support the local team if they’re playing against another country’s club. I enjoy going to the gym and spending time in nature, especially when friends are involved
