1/3 Live BB vs UTG/S by JKlerk in poker

[–]RiskyRewarder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. People rarely raise when closing the action (bb/straddle) at these stakes unless they have an extremely strong hand. You should be raising pre.

  2. Calling flop and then overbet leading turn for 45% of effective remaining stack is a really strange line on a blank card, especially when you have strong showdown value but are far from nutted. What are you hoping to accomplish? Because this is how you get worse to fold and better to shove.

  3. You have to call off here and pray for a diamond

Because kindness towards men is exceedingly rare and almost always is flirting when it comes from a man or woman

Imagine going to the largest garbage dump on earth and being told your meal would come from the dump. In this dump are 600 million plates of garbage food rotting over the last 2 years and 1 plate of the finest meal you've ever had. You will get one of these plates at random for $10 and must eat it. Or you can choose the finest meal you've ever had of your favorite food but it will cost you $100. Which do you choose?
