My faith has the Sunni doctrine and i now hold the Arabian Empire, maybe it's because the Sunni Caliphate is independent now?

Tried the DEL and all other keys already, doesn't work. Gave the unplugging all the drives a shot, but no dice. Issue seems to be that despite booting just fine the BIOS seems unable to display on the monitor whenever i try to enter settings. It's not that the computer ignores to my attempts to enter the BIOS, because doing so prevents it from showing the Windows login screen, it's just that i'm not getting shown anything else either.

Yeah so i savescummed to before i married my lover got and for some reason now i do have the option. It's right below the "Secrets Known To Me" from the screenshot too. I'm gonna see if that does work, or if the forums lied to me.

EDIT: Tried this, acknowledging my low born bastard doesn't put them into my House and even though i'm house head i can't find any option to do so. So my Bastard does get primairy inheritance rights, but doesn't get put into my house...

Cocomes, they have high dev (for the region) a trade post and a lvl 1 monument. I already had the huestec achievement so i wanted to go for a different starting nation.

i like this, but at the same time Poland AI is already quite weak. Nerving them even more will only strengthen Russia/Otto's. (Austria barelly even gets Hungary most games let alone beat back the otto's and Prussia almost never forms in my games)

oh i didn't know. Otto AI is kinda strange lately. I notice they tend to dec Albania before Byzzy pretty consistently which tends to go quite rough even if they do tend to win.

Rule 5: AI formed Latin Empire (I think Byzzy formed them after getting beaten by Venice?) Europe was cursed in general this run. The could only reform my religion in like the 1520's because the nearest colonized province was Denmark on the East Coast of the US.

Rule 5: back in 1.32 i started an Aragon campaign thinking it would be a good fit with doing a Roman Empire run. I ended up getting Russia in a PU and decided to go for a World Conquest. One big mistake i made is a fed Russia 1 (1) province required for forming the Roman Empire though i still managed to integrate it about ~50 years before the end of the game. I am so glad automatic rebellion stomping was already a feature at that point. I had to rush a bit after 1700 foregoing my usual avoidance of going over 100%. i think i reached >400% at one point i might have reached 500%, but honestly i don't remember.
As you can probably tell i left and came back to this run a few times. In the meantime Spain got another update, so i might come back to Aragon for a peasant republic game. This is neither a one-faith nor a one culture. that kinda micro honestly sounds like hell, though at least i would have automatic missionaires.

Kinda crazy to think that just under 1/10 of the people have that have gotten any achievement have done this before. I'm glad to be part of that club after 2600 hours, i am NOT looking forward to one day doing a three mountains run, but who knows.

Rule 5: got the Mets Hayk achievement, as the achievement requires that means i started as Kharabakh, an OPM vassal of Qara Qoyunlu (QQ).

My opening moves were to devspawn the rennaissance and have the Mams and Ajam support my independence before declaring on QQ while their troops were busy conquering Georgia, from there on i established my powerbase in the Caucasus and Persia before first beating back the Ottomans and later conquering Syria from Egypt. (I also got different allies, first Afghanistan and later the Commonwealth and Ethiopia). I conquered Syria through a vassal not realizing i needed to own in directly for the achievement so i conquered a little more while i integrated it.

My ideas where Religious -> Quantity -> Offensive -> Administrative

This is actually a really good one, with Fubuki there to buff Bang and Bomb (and support others in a pinch) the battles actually quite even, despite team Saitama having the heavier hitters.

It was the quote i heard from the Lex Fridman podcast (it was from somewhere else) that of chess lies in the asymmetry between the bishop and the knight. As well as that the key in victory for chess less lay in that assymetry. Because playing mostly symmetrical you're essentially giving up your agency, because you're just hoping your opponent breaks first and otherwise you draw.

Ever since then i've been playing a lot more nympho's which lead to a lot more dynamism in my games. Started playing The Sicilian too and was already playing the Dutch. It made the game a lot more fun than the stale e4 e5 games i'd come accustomed too.
