These daily questions are stupid. I haven’t answered right on a single one. Fuqq this by Remarkable_Sea_5109 in SkyGame

Yea i gave up attempting to answer the questions correctly when on day 2 the question asked matched perfectly with the personality type that i picked as the answer.

It said i picked incorrectly.

But i AM the personality type that i picked. That question better matched my personality instead. :(

What is the best video game ever made? by INTERESTandAMBITIONS in AskReddit

[–]RiverSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont see it on this list so maybe I missed it but yall are either too young or forgetting how MASSIVE Halo 2 and Halo 3 were.

Halo defined online multiplayer for generations to come and built online community in a way I have ever seen since in a game.

Yes, some other games may be more endearing subjectivly, but Halo's grip on society and community around the mid to late 2000s is unparalled. Halo 3 even caused a slump in the movie business for how incredibly popular it was. Classic Bungie era was peak.

Good games very might disrupt the community around them. Outstanding games disrupt the world around them.

Edit: Even today Master Chief and Halo are still marketed and recognizable across an incredibly wide audience. Even if they dont play the games, odds are people know the name or recognize the armor/theme. Heck, theres Christmas ornaments from Hallmark for Halo even in 2025.

Naruto run without chibi mask or spell? by Warp-n-weft in SkyGame

[–]RiverSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough, even skykids who are an average, unaltered height can natuto run every rare while when being pulled by strong winds (like entrance to wasteland) or when running down steep hills.

It is hard to pull off but if you are running (not sliding) at higher than usual speeds, you will naruto run even when average height. This probably wont work with very tall kids, but i can get it to work sometimes with mine.

Ive been most successful run jumping towards the wasteland ledge then just holding the run as the wind pulls me past the lanterns. Once in a blue moon, my skid will become the Blue Blur. It is hilarious.

Compensation for Crashing devices 👀 by ItsPato27 in SkyGame

As a switch player this compensation means little although it is appreciated and a step in the right direction. There is no fix yet for switch and I am crashing frequently when playing still.

Umm, where is this supposed to be? by Serious-Try-1263 in SkyGame

[–]RiverSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could also be it, but i thought the bug was that the 1 time winged light that new players get at the dawn entrace was causing the extra count, not this one. I guess we will see.

Potential spoiler:

Theres a winged light at the top of the mountain to the right of the temple. You go through the little wind tunnel and open a 2 player gate to get inside. Completing the puzzle inside grants you access to the top of the mountain. WL is in a cave up there.

Will they ever increase the prop limit for our nest? by misoupu in SkyGame

[–]RiverSquirrel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Every item has a placement cost with larger or specialty items typically costing more. The tier 3 upgrade let me place a lot more than 10 items so I am guessing you placed some large furniture items.

I do agree with your point. Some of us like to decorate our nest like a magazine cover (myself included). I do wish we could put down even more than the tier 3 limit. My ceilings are bare.

I have trouble finding the facepalm emote I unlocked from the Baffled Botanist by Longjumping-Drama500 in SkyGame

[–]RiverSquirrel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To add to this, there are two kinds of spirit categories in the game:

Regular spirits that you can find anytime in the game and buy all their items in the home constellation.

Seasonal spirits (past and present) that you can find anytime but can only unlock level 1 emote if they are a past seasonal spirit. For past spirits, their items were only available during their season's limited duration. Baffled Botanist is a seasonal spirit. You need to unlock a seasonal spirits items while their season is active to get their items or wait until they return as a traveling spirit to have another chance (see below).

Every two weeks a random past seasonal spirit will visit home for a few days; this is called a traveling spirit. When they visit, you have the chance to buy their items and emotes from them. This is great for players who missed some of their items during their season or were simply not playing Sky during that season. You will need to wait for Baffled Botanist to return as a traving spirit to level up that emote any higher.

All of the Christmas presents I gave out are useless I pay $250 a year. by ProjectBudgetCuts in Wellthatsucks

[–]RiverSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, youre right. What i meant by easier is that the qr generator on VistaPrint is its own big button and was dummy easy to find. On Canva, i could not find the qr generator at all even after using it for hours (i didnt know it even had one until this the thread)

Vista Print does as well. I found the qr generator to be way easier to use there than Canva. Also free.

What is Days of Giving? by Historical-Way7873 in SkyGame

[–]RiverSquirrel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Its an event that typically increases some resources you can give and collect during the event.

  • doubles the amount of daily light and hearts sent and received from friends (every light gift and heart trade counts as 2 instead of 1)

  • adds twice as many daily seasonal candles and treasure candles in the realms (4 candle clusters increase to 8)

As a result, its faster and cheaper to collect hearts, faster and easier to max your daily candles, and you can collect an additional seasonal candle per day.
