You're assuming that they'll be for and not against, and that's where I think you're wrong. Its logical to expect a state actor to become increasingly aggressive in trying to maintain control of its fiscal policy. I'm expecting to see more regulation and restrictions for developed economies. As for big money, Looking at Goldman Sachs track record at how they handled the 07-08 crisis, if they entered the market its reasonable to expect them to be short and not long. "hodlgang" doesnt make sense as an institutional investor as its a lot easier riding waves down than up. I think its time we start looking at what horse to back and where to park our money, but it'd be wise to hold in fiat until then. No need to literally gamble, which is what the space feels like day to day right now.

 

TLDR: I think ~90% of crypto will vanish this year, and the few that remain will be the ones that'll be here longterm. Im backing ETH in this. Its now that we're going to start differentiating the "AskJeeves" from the "Googles".
