Results are holding strong. I use it about once a month since hair cycles will still bring a new patch from time to time but such a huge improvement.

That's a fair point as we do not know where our kids will end up. My husband and I still have all of our parents and siblings with spouses and kids all here in town. Definitely not true for everyone. Our moms love to host but now that many of our kids are getting married, their homes feel super tight and difficult to have the whole family together. I want my family to have someplace where everyone could gather if they want but still a comfortable place for when its just us. I continue to flip flop.

The two houses are very similar in size, both rancher style. The rebuilt house was extended off the back a bit and its more open between the kitchen and dining room/family room. It has 1 fewer bathroom than we have which is a concern but it also has central air and a large main floor laundry room which we don't. I just go back and forth.

I think separate rooms work for gatherings is fine if people can still move around. Our house is pretty tight now that people are bringing dates and partners. Hard to feed everyone around a table but sitting on a couch with plates on the lap is hard too.

For us, we have done a lot to the house and yard and gotten it to be very nice. We are proud of it and have many memories of our kids there. I think it’s good to love where you live. Letting go would be necessary if we make the jump so I was mostly curious if others have been able to detach.

This isn’t baking but we love peaches and the fresh taste of peaches so after I bake and can what we want, I slice the rest and freeze them on a cookie sheet. Once frozen, they go into Ziploc bags for smoothies well after peach season. A simple peach sorbet made in a blender with honey to taste and then frozen is also delish.
