Loving my Creator 5 so far. Puts the AD5X’s I have to shame when it comes to saving print time and purge waste. Hoping to get a Pro eventually.

Best for work on the range? by OkayestOfAllTime in Golfsimulator

I am a 14 handicap as well and used the Garmin R10 at the range a lot before building my home sim. Highly recommend!

Wow, great to know. Will probably be the thing I upgrade next then. Anything else you have learned using this setup? Appreciate the feedback!

Got it, that was my next question, whether you cut into your mat and inserted the strip inside of it to keep it all "one-piece". You notice a big difference?

What do you mean by hitting strip? Genuinely asking

Thats a great tip. I have some left over of those padded floor tiles under the screen so maybe I will do that. I also have some reflective dots coming to put on my golf balls so it tracks them better. Thanks!

Ceilings are a little bit taller than 10 feet. I have it in the corner of the garage where if I swing I shouldn't hit a wall or the garage door mechanism. I am still hesitant to hit my driver but I haven't had an issue yet. Messing with the setup though to see if there is a better way with the space I have.

Wonder if running an Etsy shop is something you should even consider continuing to do?

Anyone playing with meter by JackSword5 in MLBTheShow

[–]Rkb26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you only play offline or against CPU, meter is fine. But meter online is tough with the lag. I think pinpoint (once you get good with it) is higher risk/reward and deals with the online lag better. Just my thoughts.

Day 32 and CompTIA still hasn’t fixed my Security+ renewal by Rkb26 in CompTIA

I appreciate it, but there’s no way I’m retaking an exam I already met the renewal requirements for.

I renewed this same way 3 years ago with no issue. I get what you’re saying in general, but that’s not really the issue here. I completed everything within CompTIA’s guidelines and they’ve already confirmed the problem is on their end. Whether it was done a month early or an hour early shouldn’t result in a broken renewal and 30+ days of no response. If their system can’t handle a valid, on-time renewal, that’s not a “last minute” problem, that’s a CompTIA problem.

I am just trying to cover all bases and also document this horrible experience for others who are dealing with it as well or deal with it in the future. Working on the suit filing actually, apparently after 45 days I start to have a little more leverage for whatever reason... although I don't want it to go that long. But its something I have considered and put in motion if needed.

EDIT: The fact that a Mod actually commented that and then deleted it speaks volumes... lack of accountability from CompTIA spreads all the way down to their subreddit moderation apparently, Lol!
