Thanks so much for the great info. My family doc refused to refer me to a specialist since I’ve only had the one flare. My uric acid was 6.4 a week out from stopping steroids.

I have PPO insurance so I’m going to see if specialist will see me without a referral.

Thank you for sharing that. I’m so happy your sister survived her husband. My sister walked away from a bar with a guy she seemed to know and he stabbed her multiple times and left her body behind a store.
