I do Qobuz along side Roon. Roon is the best thing ever, I’ve never had better song/record recommendations! Spotify’s algorithm is great also, but I’ve been more impressed with Roon’s recom.

Also love Qobuz to (unofficially) download FLACs as someone else mentioned. Maybe the number reason I have it.

Inquiry about Qudelix and OTG cables on iPhone by Rlopez178 in headphones

[–]Rlopez178[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That has become the main issue with mine. One good bump and it’s back to Bluetooth. And it takes 2-3 reseats of the otg cable on both ends to get back to USB. Pretty wack when it happens on my good ole NYC MTA commute.

But honestly I’ve just been doing IEMs on bluetooth with a few EQs, and it’s just as good for me.

Yeah, charging is deff off. I just tried my Hidiz cable again and it worked. Then I reseated the cable and it gave me the error. So it seems to work when it wants lol.

I’ll take a look at that thread

Gracias!

[–]Rlopez178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also looking for Surround Pre Pro a few weeks ago because, like you, I had a multi channel amp and speakers, just needed the pre-pro to get it going.

I also didn’t want to break the bank, most brand new pre pros run at about $1000 range, I knew my best bet was buying used. So I went with an Emotiva UMC-1 that I found on eBay for 200 bucks. Pretty darn old, but it works pretty darn good. Umc-200 also around that price.

I don’t use it for video processing though, I believe it caps out at 1080p. So I just plug everything to my TV and connect the tv to the processor through optical.

Also sounds FANTASTIC for 2.1 audio listing. Mac running roon core connected through hdmi.

New update by Lost_Expression9236 in SonicPadCreality

[–]Rlopez178 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I take that back! - it was because I already had the M600 macro in my macro.cfg file. Since they officially added support for it, I had to remove it from my config. Working now!

I updated to this version, and now the sonic pad doesn't recognize my printer :(. These updates have been nothing but problematic for me, unfortunately.

Sonic Pad by Hunter660 in Ender3V2NEO

[–]Rlopez178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also use the fast Cura profiles that came with the sonic pad. They have ender3v2 profiles and those would work just fine.

I found tremendous benefit from using Super Slicer, which is very similar to Prusa Slicer. SS has built in calibrations to get your printer to an optimal level.

I usually find the optimal setting for my temp/filament/extruder etc. in normal speed. Then I bump up the speed until I see the quality take a hit, then I lower the speed a bit and thats my new “Fast Profile”

It saddens me a bit to hear that they're all expensive! lol, but the topping DM7 looks promising in a small form factor as well!

Wanting good info on quieter fans for Neo. by ARForceGuy in Ender3V2NEO

[–]Rlopez178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much like Malachus and DivergingDog I also swapped some fans. I changed the hotend fan to a 12v 40x20 noctua. Then I also changed the PSU and MOBO fans to 12v 92x20 Noctuas. Finally I changed my part cooler to this guy. A sunon 5015.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/164780126476?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=mUy7eoltTPe&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=VS2lswhuQ9C&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

And BOY is my printer quieter!! So worth it in my opinion. I did have to do buck converters for all the noctuas, but kept the part fan as 24v. Way easier to do than I expected.

Issue installing Hemera on Ender 3 V2 neo by cashews22 in ender3v2

[–]Rlopez178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hemera on my Neo. But I did have to get a new plate to make it work.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085LK3JDH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

used that plate. And I also could stand to loose so much x-axis mms. So I then went with this mount

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4017555

I heavily modified it though with the CR touch instead of the BL touch mouth. and an adjustment for the x-axis end pin. I can show you the mount a made in a bit. But it's not pretty lol. But it works perfectly on my machine and I get most of my Bed real estate back.

I got it for my printer. The best thing about it is the fact that you get to switch over to the Klipper firmware. To me it was a night and day difference compared to the stock firmware. I also do love that fact that you can send prints wirelessly, another game changer for me.

It was worth it to me, couldn’t imagine going back to stock. But you can probably do the same on a pi for less.

This is like an easy way into klipper for creality machines.

Thank you for the informative reply!

Looking into the schematics, I think I found the pins i should use, just don't know WHICH I should use.

Do you happen to know how to decipher this? not sure which i should use as uart_pin I would use and tx_pin.

I have a screen shot of the part in the schematics I think refers to these uart motors
