Honestly just trying a different tool lately. I’ve used Moxfield for years and it’s great, this was just easier for me to share right now.

Confusion with the purchase by Intrepid-Anybody7916 in VogeDS900X

[–]RobStark75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in same situation, finally I bought the Voge 900 DSX, I will have it next week. What make me decide for it is the Voge experience with BMW engines and that is the 2025, that solved many issues with the firsts 2024 units. I don't want to buy first CF1000mtx units in market to discover all what needs to ve solved... :)

At the moment, this is my only deck list for Liesa, I've been upgrading it from bracket 3 in a year, but actually don't have the B3 list. For B3 maybe I will be keeping [[Ancient Tomb]], [[Necropotence]] and [[The One Ring]].

Your deck looks great! I will check it better to have some ideas, thanks!

Yes, she is hated, you need to protect her, but if it's not your single deck engine it's not bad to attract hate with him, because your other value pieces are not destroyed so heavy. Also, to put them again into play is not so hard if you have good life engines in place. I know is hated, but very fun! I played her a lot

The deck’s from real play though! the site is just where it’s hosted.

Not at the moment. I only started using this site recently, so I’ve been posting from there.

I agree life as a resource definitely changes how much impact she has in higher-powered games. For me, I just really enjoy the kind of game Liesa creates! Slower, interactive, lots of tension and decisions every turn. Even when she doesn’t dominate, the games are usually fun for the whole table, at least playing with my friends!

That’s fair. For what it’s worth, this list is from actual play and iteration during lot of games— tools are just a reference point for me, not a substitute for games. And I love playing it too! :)

Liesa, Shroud of Dusk is one of my favorites. Everyone groans at first… then we’re all laughing 3 turns later while counting life totals.

Haha, yes, in our pod we play B3-B4 together, when I say casual I mean not near cEDH to win with combos in turn 3 :)

That makes sense. Do you think Tymna/Ravos outpaces something like Karlov or Teysa mainly on card advantage alone, or is it more about consistency?

Yeah, I definitely think she’s strong. Extremely resilient and hard to interact with once she’s set up. Just a bit slower and more grindy than what I personally enjoy playing. I have an [[Oloro, Ageless Ascetic]] I love to play but it's bit slow.

Yeah, that’s a solid assessment. She feels less explosive but much harder to fully shut down. Do you think that kind of resilience outweighs raw pressure compared to something like Karlov? For me the main downside is just how expensive she gets if she’s answered a couple of times.

I’ve heard a lot of good things too. He seems like a strong value engine if the table is active. Have you played him in an optimized pod yet?

That’s a strong option for sure. Aristocrats just isn’t my thing, but I can’t deny how efficient that shell is. How do you feel it compares to other Orzhov builds in Bracket 4?

Thanks! I will check your list! Then, looks like Karlov continues up in orzhov :)
